What movie made you so mad you walked out of the theater? I left in the beginning of "Night at the Roxbury." That was years ago.

Hasn't happened yet.

All That Jazz. It was billed as a musical biopic of Bob Fosse. It was...appalling. Words fail me (and for a writer like me to admit, that's something). Yeah, we walked out.

The Libertine. Had a couple girls with me, and it was just a slew of sexuality and vulgarity.

I almost walked out of The Lady in the Water, but then we decided just to make fun of it and have a popcorn fight. We at least got our money's worth.

It has yet to happen.

But I did fall asleep during some chick flick. I don't even recall the name or plot. Of course, it was a chick flick, so the plot was probably alike all the others.

8 mm with Nicholas Cage some years ago. I was so totally disturbed by that movie that I had to leave.

WHTim -> RE: What movie made you so mad you walked out of the theater? (4/30/2008 11:23:34 AM)

I really liked 8mm.
In fact I think the overriding theme of the movie, that once you have seen somethings you can't un-see them is very moral.

Message in a Bottle made me that mad. But I didn't walk out because it was the very ending that made me want those two hours of my life back. If that movie had been 20 minutes shorter, it would've been OK. After Dances with Wolves, I didn't watch another Kevin Costner movie until that one. I haven't watched one since. And if anyone had told me that The Notebook was by the same author before I saw it, I wouldn't have gone. I liked that one, though.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning

I had to change my pants......

I don't know if I'd do that cos I'd check the info on the cinema website first. Films are expensive over here £8 ($16) plus popcorn etc.

I've walked out of one movie in my life, and that was The Pelican Brief.

May God have mercy on the souls of everyone involved with that movie![:'(]

I almost walked out of the Black Dahlia, but then some people started fighting and throwing popcorn at each other. Not in a friendly way. In a "we may need to call the cops" kind of way.

It was far more entertaining and wholesome than that movie.

Have not gone to the movies in years but what comes to mind.

"Pennies From Heaven" (steve martin)

"Flatliners" (julia roberts)

"Crying Game"

Oh man, "A Night at The Roxbury" is one of my favorites!

I've never walked out of a movie, nor would I after paying the ticket price.... Unless it was just REALLY bad. Almost went and saw "Good Luck Chuck" in theaters, but my girlfriend rented it instead... We didn't finish watching it. It was terrible.

My friend and I walked out of "The Lake House," not because it was naughty, just because it was creepy.

I'm sure it was, but the time travel part squigged us out. Did they ever meet in the end, by the way?

I couldn't figure out what there was to like. Other than my popcorn war, that is.

You'll have to watch the rest to figure it out. [;)]

I almost walked out on "Me, Myself, and Irene." Awful.

redeemedsaint -> RE: What movie made you so mad you walked out of the theater? (5/21/2008 9:47:04 AM)

Hasn't happened yet, but I try to see movies that will have some redeeming quality, so I really don't see a lot of movies.
