Father,
It seems that—as we go about our daily bus(y)ness— we often overlook our need for your peace. Help us to see everything in its right perspective and to go about our responsibilites, errands, chores, jobs, acts of service and all other activities in your peace. We pray this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Lord, you are the author of peace. We cannot understand Your peace because it so far above us, and yet we pray asking that you continue to give us the peace that only you can give. Give us peace in the midst of danger and trials. Give us peace when we don't even know that we need it. We praise Your Holy Name for answered prayer.
In Jesus Christ I pray.

Please help all those who are stressed. Help them to function sensibly even when all around them my seem chaotic. Help them to be calm, cool, compossed and collected because of having the mind of Jesus Christ in whose name we ask this. Amen.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask for help to respond with peace to every remark, insult or criticism that hits me like a fiery dart.
Help so that I will not respond with aggression or with a cutting remark, but with appropriate peace and understanding.

A prayer from Girlfriends in God:
Father, I want to thank You for your unconditional love and forgiveness. Help me to focus on You and Your presence in my life each day. I pray that any stress in my heart will be swallowed up in the reality that You are faithful and are in control. I know You are not surprised by anything that comes my way and will transform the good into better, the unthinkable into the unstoppable and the unbelievable into fact. God, please, give us peace in our world. I see this country being torn apart by selfish desires and a demand for everything to be one person's way or another. Please, instead of letting us fight amongst ourselves, show us the way to peace. I pray for this in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Faithful Savior.
