((((((Karlie & Kristen)))))))

We go back to BAMC on Thursday to get the stitches taken out of Mom's hand. They biopsied a spot on the back of her left hand today.

The hospital is quite daunting when looking at it from the outside - and I guess it would be easy enough to get lost in, but so far I've had a pretty easy time of getting around in it.

That's a huge hospital, Beckey!

Kristen is fine. It went pretty much as we anticipated, and he confirmed the problem. The only bad thing is he wants it done in the hospital under general and we weren't anticipating that. But, he feels it's necessary, so that's what we'll do. He's very nice and is highly respected in his field, so we trust his judgment. They are trying to schedule it for spring break.

Lunch was Olive Garden of course...her favorite! We got pasta dishes, of course! Kristen had Grilled Shrimp Caprese, and I had Tuscan Garlic Chicken. It was the first time either of us had those dishes and they were wonderful. No dessert though...we were too full to even split one.

I have a feeling I may be visiting my local Olive Garden tomorrow...

I love eating at Olive Garden. I don't eat there often for the prices, but I do enjoy it when I can.

I know...it's kind of on the pricey side. WHN hates Italian food, so it's just Kristen and I when we go, and it's just occasionally. Probably a good thing they aren't cheaper, or we'd eat there all the time and that would be a bad thing!

I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but I didn't wanna look like a MO-RON... Since I'm as tired as I am right now, I'll just deal with lookin like one. What does WHN stand for? A name?

LOL! Everyone asks that sooner or later

WHN="What's His Name". It's a nickname for my husband. Someone in forums came up with way back when I first joined 7-8 years ago. I hadn't posted his name before and when our anniversary came around, Darryl(walker311) posted "happy anniversary Karlie and What's His Name. It stuck for some reason and he has been known as that around here ever since.

Gotcha! Now I'm not in the dark anymore! I was trying to come up with a name that would fit, or some phrase, but "What's his name" never occurred to me!

Now you're in the know!

Today, when we went to the doctor, I had the directions to his office on a post-it note and stuck it to the dashboard of my car right above the stereo. Kristen looked at it and said "oh, cool...primitive GPS"

I was thinking about coffee a few minutes ago too, but then I'd be up half the night. I don't need any help not sleeping, that's for sure!

I had to give up coffee on school days. Otherwise, I have to hit every restroom between every class...twice!

I don't have coffee on my non-work days. I am trying to not build my caffeine immunity even higher than it is.

If I went a day without caffeine in some form, my loverly would call an ambulance.... or the cops wanting to know who took the place of her husband!

lol James. I still have my coffee on school days, just wait til after classes are finished. I'm a cold weather coffee drinker though...I usually don't have it in the summer unless it's a blended iced coffee.
