Will the doctor be doing a blood pg test before the biopsy tomorrow...if he's not planning on it you should tell him at the appt. that you're late for your cycle and don't want to compromise the baby, if you are indeed pg.

I always said, when in doubt test! Do you know if you O'ed or not? If you are sure you o'ed then test. (but this is coming from a lady who took an obscene amount of pg tests to confirm this one.)

I don't have a chart for this month :( We were using OPK....but...we were going out of town when I was supposed to be fertile. I didn't want to mess with the strips (call me weird).

I did have mid-cycle spotting on days 12 & 13 (counting 1st day as Day 1....not sure if that's right or wrong). I do recollect BDing on days 11 & 14...so anything is possible. Had a TVU on day 22 & doc didn't say anything about a baby. (US showed thick uterine lining, ovarian cysts, and a fibroid.)

My doc appt. tomorrow is to biopsy the endo lining. I did go ahead & buy a test cuz I've never really been late (aside from pregnancy with my son). Told DH that I'll test in AM....if I can wait that long. It is a double pack, but I really need to wait!!!

Oh, I've had abdominal pain off & on since the mid-cycle spotting....so there isn't any way to tell with that. CF was weird too. Currently, it is present but not in the amounts it would usually be just prior to AF. There is no color to it either. (Sorry if that's TMI)....but just trying to help all of you out that know all of these symptoms & how to read them....oh....the tatas have been hurting for over a week too (really tender).

Guess I'll let you know what the test says in the morning....

A TVU at day 22 if you O'd on CD 12 or 13 probably wouldn't show anything, a late implanter could have just been getting a start.

Guess that's true, Ryanne. It would just be implanting at that point and very much microscopic.

You have PCOS, right? When you were diagnosed...did that happen right away or did you just stop having cycles? I'm just curious because I don't really know how any of that works....or if there is a norm with that....if that is what is going on.

I got diagnosed because of ovarian cysts, I was 18 and had been on bcp for 2 years due to cramping and never ending cycles which were, at the time, just diagnosed as being due to "adolescence". I had all the typical blood work done as well, CD 3 and 21 if I remember correctly. I was told by a not so great Endo that there wasn't anything I could do until I was ready to have kids It took 2 more Endo's to find one who actually KNEW something about PCOS, he put me on cinnamon, a LC diet, and a good exercise regimen.

Hmmm....so I guess the answer is, "It's different for everyone." ;) Thanks, Ryanne.

I'll let y'all know what the test says in the morning. I so so so want to be!!! But on the other hand....I know I'll be rather let down if I'm not...

At least then we'll have more of a direction to go...in all likelihood. So I guess that's a good thing.

Well, I would read the test as BFN. Others might read it differently...hard to say.

I'll definitely be asking the doc for a blood test ahead of time just to rule pregnancy out for sure though....

can you take a pic and post it? It can be hard to tell with very faint lines. A blood test is always a good idea

Or you could postpone the biopsy for two more weeks...if that's a possibility...just to make sure that you're not pg.

bfn = big fat negative

bfp = big fat positive

Doc didn't do a blood test...just did another urine one (at my request). Negative as far as I know...not that I expected anything other than that.

Went ahead & did the biopsy. OUCH!!! That definitely hurt so badly.

A pic of the stick....I'll have to find my cable from my cell phone to computer. The control line was very dark and the --- was about as dark. There is a VERY VERY VERY faint | through part of it. I figured the plus/minus one would be EASY to figure out. NOT!!!

Since I arrived home from the procedure, I am spotting some. From my understanding, that's typical. I'm just going to take it easy tonight & pray this spotting/aching lets up.

Did they do an ultrasound with the biopsy, by chance?

No ultrasound this week. I guess that's cuz the doc did a TVU a week ago?

Was your biopsy a uterine lining one? That's bothersome to me that there was not an ultrasound done in conjunction with a blood pg test since you're late and have a possibly + pg test from yesterday.

It was a biopsy of the endo lining. I'm guessing that would be the same as what you're talking about? Or are they two different things?

Did they go past your cervix into your uterus?

It does disturb me that they didn't do a blood test (nor an ultrasound) and that they didn't let you reschedule for two weeks...just to make sure that you're not pg...ya know...

Yeah....I had some spotting last night, but I've stopped that now. Nothing at all....just really achy in my lower abdomen.

I even TRIED to push for a blood test...to no avail. I'm just not forceful enough, I guess. When I called, I asked them to do a blood test & they said...no....we'll just do a urine test. (Hello? I took one this morning....it didn't really give an answer....so why would their test?) *sarcasm* there...sorry.....

I'll probably wait a few more days & then test again with the HPT. I've been told that I could just be stressed out with everything going on (possible...it has been crazy). But even with stress....I'm on time....like 99.99 percent of the time.....LOL.............

If I am indeed pregnant...are there certain pain relievers I should NOT be taking?? Just curious as it does relate...at least with everything going on currently...

You should look up the Kellymom.com site for what you can and cannot take...

It's not so much, imo about you being forceful enough or not...it's really on your doc's office...because uterine procedures shouldn't be done if a woman is pg as it can endanger the growing baby...even early on in a pregnancy.
