Cool.

What sources did you use to research, Sam? I'm going on memory and I'm about out of funds now.

Lioness I will get to this question later when I have more time. In short I used several sources including google to find the information.

I guess the big thing for me is I can separate pagan from satanic. There is a difference. Maybe someone should post the definitions in that thread. It seems some people either can't make the distinction or are unwilling to do so.

Nobody wants to talk about the ancient Celts anymore. I finally find something that interests me and that I know a little bit about and it's over before I really get going.

Story of my life.

I am sorry I deserted The conversation. But it was either that or say what I really wanted to say and get banned.

No, not you. I figured you were busy working or something. Maybe I'll be lucky and the duck person will post something else.

It's too much to hope that a few people might get educated about their misconceptions.

I'd bring up the Celts stuff again Lioness. The only reason they don't want to discuss it, is they can't refute it. Facts sure make some arguments difficult...

I know! Bothersome things.

I'll wait till someone brings up it's satanic origins again. BTW, why does it never occur to people that, if they lived in Ireland in 40bc, they'd be pagans, too?

I'm sure they would have been the one exception to that though. I mean, they know it all and have it all figured out for the rest of us...

When you get the chance Lioness you might want t mention the definitions of Pagan and satanic.

In the old days a pagan was any non-Christian or non-believer. Even the modern definition says pretty much the same thing.

Satanic on the other hand means something of the devil.

One can be pagan and satanic. Or one can be one or the other. But being pagan does not automatically make one satanic.

In reality it would probably be right the oposite. If one did not believe in God they probably did not believe in the devil either.

To borrow a line from RObert Duvall in the Movie Jeronimo...

He don't love what he is arguing for

And He don't hate what he is arguing against.

It is not the subject of a thread that drives him it is the debate(arguing) It took me a long time to figure that out. I dare say he could effectively argue either side.

I think your right. I'm just waiting for a certain pet subject to come up. I'm not sure how it will get in there, but I know it will...

Well, we just won't do that anymore. It's not profitable anyway.

But thanks for the encouragement.

Wakey, wakey! Eggs and bakey time!

If you don't like eggs and bacon, there is a plethora of danishes on the tray, some grits, cream of wheat, oatmeal and fruit. Hope you all enjoy!
