When I had a lot of kidney trouble I would take the juice, a cup of ice, and a splash of sprite and dump it into the blender. It was the only way I could drink it then. I'd make a huge cup and off to class i'd go...lol

I LOVE cranberry juice. I really dislike the "diet" versions with splenda or nutrasweet. BLECH!!!!

I admit it's a little easier to drink when it's mixed with something else as opposed to 100% cranberry juice, but I get the most effect from 100% juice.

Back when I thought it might be good for me, I'd pour cranberry or cran-apple juice into my coffee cup enough to fill halfway, then I would top it off with water to cut back the taste. Microwave until hot and serve.

I'm still a little under the weather, but I think I should get better soon. No plans to visit New York soon, but we'll see about that too.

How are you doing tonight?

I am doing ok Popsi, just relaxing. Have you ever thought about visiting NYC at all?

btw, an update on my acid-reflux. It only seems to happen when I have either eaten too much (which is like a regular meal at a restaurant and/or when I haven't eaten all day and then eat something either acidic or heavy. When I do not do those things, then I am fine instead for the most part.

I thought about it, but it doesn't seem like it would be something on my top list of things to do Mike...

I used to love Boston, but it changed and I changed over the past couple of decades though.

I was so intrigued with reading this that I went to my refrigerator, got out my bottle of 100% unsweetened / 100% cranberry juice and poured some in a mug and then added some of my filtered water (ratio was about .25 / .75) . . . and zapped it in the microve for 2.5 minutes.

The end result . . .

I am now happily sipping a very delicious cup of cranberry "cider".

Good Evening y'all.

I like it....but it has to be cold outside, kinda like hot chocolate weather.

I'm not even sure why it became a tradition, but my mom used to fix it for us when we were little on Christmas Eve, so now I do it too.
