ORIGINAL: wintery Hey Sharon-Marie... I stopped at Krystal in Lawrenceburg, TN today, and noticed on the bottom of my receipt that they are currently featuring some kind of pumpkin drink or shake or something. It sounded like something that would appeal to you. Was this coffee or icecream, Wintery? I guess it was a shake, dunno for sure. quote:
ORIGINAL: WhiteRoseBlessings BTW, I was wondering . . . did you visit your friendly Amish proprietors this weekend? Buy anything interesting? They have different products at different farms of course. This time I went to another place with my dad to get fifty pounds of sweet potatoes. They're, eh, not my favorite thing. It was interesting though to see that this was the time of harvesting them. The place I went, the man puts them in fifty-pound capacity bags, I think the bags are a plastic mesh iow "store-bought" bags. I noticed two other farms I passed they had loaded down a wagon with their harvest and were bagging them out as they were purchased. Back at the farm I stopped at, a boy was feeding sugar cane into a grinder probably eventually to be molasses. The corn fields up there have the stalks cut and tied into standing bundles where I hear they will finally be ground and put in the lofts for animal feed. Maybe that was interesting.

However I know a lot of lefties who play regular guitar. Jimi Hendrix is probably the most well known. He took a Stratocaster and played it upside down. Electronic drums don't have the same feel or action. At least that's what every drummer I've ever talked to says. Most hate them. A good set of regular drums can easily cost as much as an electronic set. Keith Moon of the Who had a setup that was valued at $21,000 back in the 70's. quote:

Who here looks at their pictures that they have a lot, and who here only looks at them once in a blue moon? I've probably shot tens of thousands of images over the years, yet other than the few I've had enlarged and framed, or the ones I use as avatars, I rarely look at them again.

I don't drink milk and I don't drink Pepsi, so I don't imagine I'll be drinking Mepsi anytime soon. However, I can see where some might like something like that . . . it's not too far off from soda-floats. quote:

I certainly think so. I also think, based on a few of your recent posts, that you have a great gift for writing. Incidentally, I love sweet potatoes. Maybe I'll get one when I go to the store today. 50 pounds??!!! I'm intrigued.

I loooooovvvvee to look at pics. I don't do it often because I often will spend a lot of time looking at them and hence neglect other things. Sometimes I'll take the yearbooks out to see what silly things were scrawled on my pages. I just love the memories!!!

SharMar, to answer your question, I look at my photos once in a blue moon. There are a few I keep by my bed which I look at regularly. Some of Bailey. One of Denny and Susie. And one of Miss CherryLimeade and Ben.
