Doesn't matter much to me which teams wins on that one. Would have been nice to see the Redskins win, 'cause a friend of mine is a huge fan.

DD#1 was over yesterday, so I didn't get to watch the game. sounds like it was just as well though.

rebel boy pulls out an 1853 Enfield rifle. pours powder down it. puts something else in the barrel. yanks out ramrod, crams everything inside the barrel. half cocks hammer, puts cap on nipple. goes outside. tells everyone to come with. cocks hammer, aims high, pulls trigger.
now what did i cram in the barrel? popcorn kernels! everyone can have as much as they like! a truly manly way of making popcorn!

Going to the wedding of the year (decade?) next weekend, all huge 'skins fans. Dr Dan Juster's daughter is marrying Jonathon Moore, who leads the national UMJC young adult organization. At least now they will be able to focus on the wedding and not the game.
This shindig will be attended by people from all over the world. Juster is one of the founders of the modern Messianic Movement and has an international following. My wife's sister is making the cake so DW and I actually got invited to the limited reception (only the top 300 got that).

Speaking of popcorn, I tried your suggestion of adding Tabasco to melted butter, then pouring it over the popcorn. YES! It's delicious! I may have mixed the Tabasco/butter ratio a little strong for some folks, but it's a GOOD thing to sweat while eating popcorn!

We went to the Michigan race twice a year for a long time. It was a lot of fun, but I got tired of baking in the heat all day long.  I just couldn't do it anymore. A bunch of us would go together and grill out. We had an old beatup motorhome that was perfect for it.
