Thanks. He's acting a little nervous about it today, but I'm sure he'll do fine.

Me? I'm hoping for morning sickness to distract me. LOL Not really, but almost.

This new baby due in September has pretty much clinched where he will spend next year. I'm actually glad God lead us to this decision before I was pregnant because now I know we didn't decide this because of the baby and I don't feel guilty at all. Noah won't know about the baby until he's been in school about a month, so I don't think he'll connect it at all either.

I think that your baby is going to just have to hang on until February.

One who likes things neat, orderly and consistent. After all, Doesn't almost everyone here always say that Consistency is one of the most important traits in a loving parent? Imagine the trauma of celebrating all those birthdays and then having to wait seven whole months for yours? How is a little child supposed to understand that? You as an adult need to stand up and exhibit sacrificial giving just this one time. What is 20 extra weeks of pregnancy compared to 7 months of torture year after year after... ? Stay consistent, wait until February for the babies birthday.

Um...September to February would be more than 10 extra weeks of pregnancy. And...you are certifiably crazy. Really.

My niece (brother's little girl) and nephew (SIL's son) both have September birthdays, so the little one won't be alone.

we have 2 september birthdays in our house....so you can always come visit us too at birthday time! our first b-day is the 15th and the second one is the 24...so aim for something in between...lol

We also have a february birthday (5th), and two Marches (1, and 13..the 1 one was almost a feb birthday....she waited until 12:20 am to appear so she just made it into March...I am the other one) and one May birthday. I think the May birthday likes being the unique one......

you don't have to like the birthday...that is why I told donna to aim for the inbetween dates....

Personally...I am rather fond of September 24th birthdays...one of my favorite aunts and my Sweetlips share that birthday. Anyone else on that day simply does not matter.

OK. I wasn't trying to put down the day. Just an impulse reaction.

I understand....lol...I was just trying to tell you that you CAN focus on my Sweetlips and forget anyone else who might have that birthday (as long as it isn't yours)

No, I'm not aiming for between the 15th and 24th. Are you crazy? I had a 9+ lb baby 3 days early, and a 10+ lb baby on the due date. I'm not letting them let me go over. The due date is the 7th. I'm kind of hoping for the 4th. It's a special day in a sad way and it would be neat to have something good on that day.

Back on topic...Noah's lunch is made and his bag is packed. His clothes are laid out for tomorrow. I'm feeling a bit emotional, but I'll be okay.

For some reason, that just really caught me. He isn't my kid, and I feel emotional!

Okay, I'm feeling a lot emotional. Kath hugged me and I snotted all over her.

I am not a failure. I am sacrificing my own wants for the best of my child.

He is going to be fine. He is going to be better than fine. He will love being with other kids his age, and a school environment will be a good challenge for him.

Just because this is the plan now does not mean this is the plan for all time. It does not mean Noah will not ever be hsed again. It does not mean I won't hs any other children.

The bad things that happened to me at school, and on the way there, are not also going to happen to Noah. He is a different kid and these are different circumstances.

Hannah is going to love having more mommy time. We will do some special girl things when Levi is napping.

My house is going to love having more of my time too.

I can nap and not feel guilty that my body needs rest.

I'm going to bed now.

Get plenty of sleep. He is in a really good situation. I know how what happened to you was able to happen. I went through the same sorts of things. It doesn't sound like those things will be able to able to happen to Noah. the route to school is very short and direct and there are no lay overs. Furthermore, you are on the BOE and live a couple houses down from his teacher who you know. Noah is very vocal to you about things that upset him. He surrounded on every side with God at his front and his back. Rest.

I am curious... What did he wear on his first day? What does he have for lunch? Does he have any special classes today like gym, art or chapel?

I am praying for the both of ya.

He wore a green polo shirt and black corduroys. He has to have collared shirts, but if they have tails they have to be tucked in, which he hates.

His lunch is a ham sandwich, a yogurt (the kind with candy you pour in...his favorite ), peanut butter crackers, and a sunny delight. I'm sure he'll be starving when he gets home.

I don't know if he has any specials today. I forgot the days she said they were. Maybe gym today?? Chapel is tomorrow.

I thought it was some kind of universal rule of Christian schools to have chapel on Wednesdays. Well, If someone where to step out of the box, it would be our church. We didn't even have prayer meetings on Wednesdays for a long time there.

it sounds like he has a really good lunch. Yummmm!

<GASP!> and you call yourselves Christians??

Maybe they just thought that y'all needed an extra dose of Bible before the weekend parties.
