When my husband and I were stateside missionaries in South Dakota, the mission board that we were with signed us up for a similar thing called Christian Brotherhood Newsletter. It was okay, not great. I didn't see anything particularly un-Christian about it, but we were glad when we were able to get real insurance again. It worked, but not as well as insurance, and had no coverage for routine care.

I took a "Christian" aerobics class. I listen to Christian music 99% of the time and it was nice to work out to songs that I knew vs songs that I didn't. The class was at my church and has about 40% people from church and 60% people from the community who wanted a free workout. It was great. I do not like businesses that advertise as Christian just to pull customers in.
