Hi Trish, Kerr, Aga, Sheila, DebbieLynne, Trish, Kerr, Aga, Trish, Aga.

Kerr, I love, love, love that picture of "Stretch"
And about the pastor... That Sunday for him must have been a bit more frantic as we are a church in two locations so he had to drive for a few miles to do the service at the other location.

It was really nice Sharon-Marie. There was nice turnout too considering the service went waaaaay long. First Sunday for our new pastor AND communion.

This is not a good sign.

Maybe the pastor was just nervous and rambled too much or it slipped his mind it was communion this w/end.

But just exactly how long is 'waaaaay long'?

The Methodists beat you to Cracker Barrel.

LOL!! We ARE Methodists!!

And DebbieLynne, I am doing okay. Today I have had lots of laughs and I'm grateful.

I feared that possibility.

I used to tell people that I was a Two-Seed-in-the-Spirit Predestinarian Baptist until I realized that there were actually a few of them still out there and I might run into one.

Well, I used to tell people that first and foremost I am a Christian. I happen to be based in the Methodist church.

I have some very good Baptist friends, does that count?

Mike, I didn't know that about Keillor.

Well the only thing with him is I think he is a religious Lutheran more than anything else. I do like when he does Southern Gospel though.

When I was little I went to a Methodist Sunday School.

When I went to boarding school, it was Methodist. I was confirmed Anglican in the chapel there.

And I've rarely attended an Anglican church ~ last one was Baptist.

When I was little I attended a GGF (Grace Gospel Fellowship) church. When I was 10 we started attending a non-denominational church. In middle school I went to youth group with my friend at a Pres church. In HS I found my church home to be an Evangelical Free church. In college I couldn't find a church home. When I moved to Cali I found an E. Free home again, twice. Now I attend a Pres church again.

I was baptized (fully dunked) at age 25 at the E. Free church.

I am not sure what kind of church it was that I started going out to. When I was in 4th grade I started going to a Southern Baptist church, and stayed there for a very long time. When I moved to northern Nevada I went to another southern Baptist church. After I got married we haven't been to church much, but we have mostly been to non-denominational churches here.

I like Southern Baptist and non-Denom churches best. I sort of liked the Evangelical Free churches I have been to. Methodist is not my thing. I haven't tried out any others that I can remember.

Hi Sharon

It's cool to see all the different church backgrounds!

I was raised Baptist for several years, then my parents went briefly to a Church of God, then to A/G. After I got married, we tried a couple of non-denominationals over the years, but ended up back at the same A/G we went to for several years when the girls were born.

I was raised Catholic, became saved in my teens, went to a few non-denom, charismatic/penecostal type churches. Then within the past 10 years being involved with an Assemblies of God church instead.

John and I are Christians attending a Baptist church. We'd actually prefer a church like John MacArthur's, but the nearest one is too far away.
