Has anyone ever been to the singing at Jackson, TN in July? My family and I are thinking about going on July 18th to see the Hoppers. We had plans to go last year, but things didn't work out. I was wondering how everyone thought it was.

I went several times and always enjoyed it! Well except for the night the coke dispenser 'exploded' and I had the coke bath!!! LOL

I really love and most of all respect The Hoppers for their dedication to ministry in the SG industry. In the earlier years, The Hoppers were known for helping new artists get their break into SG. Can you name some of today's well-known artists that once was a Hopper member?

It's early but I'll start the list with Kirk, Roger and Debra Talley.

The entire Talley Clan (Roger, Debra and Kirk). Roger Fortner was with them for a brief time in the early '80s. Shannon Childress, Greg Bentley, Sharon Watts and Josh Simpson were also some notable members of the group.

Great job Seaton! I also believe that Jeff Easter played the piano for them a bit in the 80's as well.

So what are your thoughts on the new multi-city live album the Hoppers are recording. I think it is a great idea. I look forward to the finished product. I wish they would go back and pick up some of their hits from the early '90s (most notably "Here I Am", "Heavenly Sunrise" and "Anchor To The Power Of The Cross").

When considering song selection, arrangements, presentations, vocal ability, personality, etc., I believe the Hoppers are the best "mixed group" on the road today.

I plan to see them in DeQuincy, Louisiana tomorrow night. Anybody ever heard of DeQuincy?

The only place I have heard of DeQuincy is on their website PawPaw. How was the concert? were they the only group there?

I've seen the Hoppers at the auditorium in Rome before. It is an excellent venue for them. I'm not going, but I know you will really enjoy it!
