I first visited the "map" subject area and intro'd myself there, then saw this ; )

I am Ronni, live in Colorado Springs, CO altho I have lived on both coasts the past 25 years (USN), love the outdoors, finishing an M.A. in Christian counseling with Liberty U's distance learning, divorced, have kids, have a long list of things I want to do in new found singledom, and now enjoy learning the blessing of being married to Jesus - so the future is something I look forward to.

Hey, Ronnie, and welcome! Find some threads you're interested in and jump in.

I'm in the same program at Liberty!! We may have taken some classes together.

Location: new york city

How long have you been posting/lurking?: found the site today, lurked for a 1/2 hour or so then joined up

What do you enjoy doing?: Ii attend Times Square Church in New York City. I'm into fitness: running, weightlifting & living a healthy lifestyle that honors the Chirst within me.

Tell us a little about yourself: 33, single and alone but definitely not lonely. I am enjoying the state of profound growth the Lord has me in right now. I really am in love! I do need more Christian friends, lol. I know the Lord will work on his schedule and do just that and so much more in my life. Found some interesting topics on here so I look foward to posting.

Well, I guess it's time for me to repost my bio....

Name: Ray, RC, Underdog or U-Dawg

Location: Syracuse, NE

How long have you been posting/lurking?: Been a member for several years. But, I've been 'off-line' for quite a while during my move.

What do you enjoy doing?: There are many things that I really enjoy doing. Just some of them are spending time with close friends and family, drinking (strong!!) coffee, traveling, writing, drawing (mostly pen and ink), cooking, reading (especially Star Wars and theology), and working out.

Tell us a little about yourself: I was born in South Dakota, grew up in Kansas, and traveled to many different places, and currently reside in south eastern Nebraska. I've done many different things in my life, all the way from having a paper route, to working in a factory, to being an intelligence analyst for the US Army and, currently, being a Corporal in the Nebraska Department of Corrections. I am currently engaged to a wonderful Christian lady that I met here in the singles forum and we will be getting married in August of this year. The only 'kid' that I have is the 'feline variety.' But, currently Tiger is residing with 'Mommy' because of my moving and trying to get settled.

I hope that helps all of you...

Hey Y'all! Carl here. Or you can try to pronounce OneJohn410. It is something like (WHA-neh-ZHAN-Fort-ehn). Actually that's it, exactly.

Name: oops! see the above

Location: Some know it as the Capital of the Old South or (Mahngumry), AL

How long have you been posting/lurking?: I have been posting a lot longer than current profile gives me credit for, and when the WAY-FM community (it was something like YSSB) went away, so did my posting. Lurking??? Why lurk when you can just outright post, amen? Lurking has never been my style, I've just gone right at it.

What do you enjoy doing?: I enjoy lurking. Ha! I enjoy singing, dancing (ballroom, baby, ballroom- not like with the STARZZzz, I mean the real thing), friendships, quality time with my labradoodle (Tiger Woods has nothing on this labradoodle), helping out with the local Meals on Wheels team as a courier, Mexican food, Chinese food, American food, did I say Chinese food? Eating in moderation is great. So is having a solid-feeling full-time job, which I'm working on now. Bible studies, playing tunes on my stereo, endless yardwork (including flowers and roses), endless housework (single guys have ALL the fun and know that household stuff).

Tell us a little about yourself: That really is an Indian name. No, but that would be cool to have one. Has anyone lived with a tribe long enough to be named? JW. I deeply appreciate the Ts & Ps I already feel coming my way from youse guys about my work situation. This is going on month FIVE now of no employ.

I'm 6'2", love to participate in extreme sports (not!), did graduate from college, putting that hair and eye color in here would make it a personal ad, so that's brown and brown/kind of brown-green last I checked- really intriguing as I remember them, and not mischievous at all. Oh! I'm in my upper 30s already.

Please pray for rain for us crop-growing Southerners, and for safety for those in today's storm country. And for the authorities whose power God's granted for the USA during these exciting days.

In His awesome love,
OneJohn410

Name: My name is Beth, and there have been different variations of that, but we usually start with Beth and go from there.

Location: Pennsylvania

How long have you been posting/lurking?: I joined the site a few days ago and started posting right away.

What do you enjoy doing?: I love singing, writing and people most of all. Most of my other activities are for spending time with people. I babysit a lot, I'm involved in my church youth group, I do a lot of driving people around and visiting. Singing is amazing, I love music of most genres. I take voice lessons and have a ton of fun doing that. Ummmm... I run the drama team at church, though we have been too busy for awhile to do much. I used to play soccer and ride horses, but work and schedules have prevented me from doing that much.

Tell us a little about yourself: I just did, didn't I? I'm 21, I'm abnormally amazing and we should be friends! lol. No, actually I'm from a family of four kids and I'm very attached to them, I was homeschooled my whole life then went to a discipleship school for two years, now I'm back home again. I like my dog I think more than is socially acceptable and my sister and I talk babytalk to her. I'm going to Moody Bible Institute this fall online and I'm looking for a full time job to get me through that. I don't know what else to say about myself. I hope I can add good stuff to the forum!

Welcome Beth.

A lot of the people who post on here regularly are all together at one of their houses for the annual Get Together or GT as it is called, so it is abnormally quiet here today.

Just jump right in on some threads.

Hi everyone!

I'm a single mom of a 3 year old boy and have been divorced (officially) for 6 weeks. The process has been 1 1/2 years but I'm thankful to be on this end of things and in a position to move forward with my life!

I live in the Northwest and for the time being am a stay at home mom. I work from home but have started looking for a job outside the home.

I love the Lord and am thankful for His protection over me and my son. He truly has been my husband during this trial of my life. I enjoy photography, reading, history, sports - love sports! I love to laugh, especially with my son.

Being single is quite lonely and this has lead me to you! I hope to be encouraged and be encouraging, maybe make a few friends along the way.

How long have you been posting/lurking?: One day, guess I move quickly huh? :D

What do you enjoy doing?: Photography, hiking, snowboarding

Tell us a little about yourself: I'm 34, divorced, father of three gorgeous daughters who are becoming teenagers (scary). I'm a programmer. I'm a geek but not a typical geek, you wouldn't guess I was a geek if you met me randomly some place. Ah well, I guess I'll leave the rest to the discovery process.

G'day to all the new folks. (my intro's buried in here somewhere on the first few pages of this thread, so I'll spare that).

As others have said, jump right in! A little quiet right now (unusually so, actually) but well, the more who jump in the less quiet it'll be.
