ANOTHER HEADACHE FREE NIGHT!!! Kath, I'm on Atenolol for blood pressure, Verapamil for the bp and headache prevention, and I am now back on an increased dose of Lithium for prevention. I was taking the Lithium before but stopped several weeks ago when the current cluster of headaches happened, so I don't know if it's coincidence that they stopped the same night I went back on the Lithium or not. I DO remember that I dreamed something about stacking firewood last night though....

There are good guidlines for handling problems, but none that fit every situation. The only guide book that fits every situation is the Bible, and even with that we still need its author, the Holy Spirit, to understand and obey it. Loving our enemies is a tough one. But it's in our Father's book, so with His help we have to seek to obey even that command. Deb and I continue to pray for you and Lynn and John. I do hope that in time God will truly draw John to Himself and away from you and Lynn. I rejoice with others here you've had some good nights without headaches keeping you awake. I used I have headaches but don't get them anymore, and I kind of suspect the lack of the them has something to do with the medications I take for my high blood pressue. We love you, Ben.

On a scale of ten I had one last night that was a nagging 3. But much better than the 8-9's I'd been having!

Yup, there will be rejoicing on this here thread when we hear that you've been headache free for days...weeks...months! (I hope we don't have to wait until the new heavens and new earth for that particular piece of good news.)

The headaches haven't been too bad. So far only one a night, and they have only been at level 3 or under. They will disappear after using the O2.

One of the dogs died late last week, must have been Thursday night or Friday. Evan found her in the shed Sat afternoon. Very bloated and I had not smelled the smell of death like that for a good many years. If I never smell it again I'll be glad. Had to pull her out and bury her. That smell follows you around afterwards. I have been catching whiffs of it all day yesterday even though there is now no source of it. She had been a reclusive dog, slow to come out of her house or spot under the deck, so when we'd go out on the deck in the back and she didn't appear not too much was thought about it. But Sat while I was at the store buying the produce Kayla wanted to find out where she was. Thankfully Evan found her before Kayla did and steered her away from the shed. Kayla thinks that the new puppy was too much for Halley and that caused her to jump the fence and run away. She expects us to call the dog pound to see if they found her... I had a headache (not a migraine) all night Sat and all day yesterday. It went away last night and I didn't get a cluster during the night.

Ben, dh and I just returned from a marriage refreshment weekend. The speaker had a pile of books about marriage on a table for us to peruse and I saw one that I thought might help you. It's called Unfaithful: Reguilding Trust after Infidelity by Gary and Mona Shriver. I thought you might want to check it out. How are you doing?
