Hidee, I went to see Jerry Trammel (sp?) Saturday evening in Grand Prairie, TX. Jerry is the former tenor of the Florida Boys, J. D. and the Stamps, etc. He is also Mark's older brother. Jerry is suffering from Parkinsons. However, he did a great job, and it was wonderful to see and hear him again! He has always been one of my favorite tenor vocalists! We had a great time visiting about the "old days"! He has a tremendous testimony about the Lord saving him in 2000 after many years of abusing alcohol and many DWI charges. If you ever get a chance to go see Jerry, please do. You will not be dissapointed. Also, please pray for him as he faces Parkinsons as he travels singing for the Lord!

He even sang bass with them on one song!

I went to see Karen Peck and New River yesterday! First off, let me say it was so nice to meet Elva (a.k.a. Missouri-SGfan). She was so sweet!! Karen, Susan and Devin out done themselves yesterday. The presence of God showed up and I will say and I'm sure Elva will agree...we had church! From the first words of the video that started off the concert, talking about What God is, to the first note of Last Night, to Four Days Late to the prayers...God showed up and never left! I would have to say that Four Days Late, was one that blessed a lot of people, they were weeping, shouting, raising their hands, it was awesome! That message never grows old. Each song off of the new CD was fabulous! I would recommend it, my mom bought it and it is amazing! After the concert, I met Karen, Kari, Susan and Devin. They were all so gracious enough to get a picture with me and sign my t-shirt and picture! If I am leaving anything out, I hope Elva will help me out!!

You described it perfectly, sweetie. The holy spirit certainly showed up at the Bloomfield General Baptist Church yesterday afternoon. I know the congregation was blessed but, I also felt that Karen really received an immense blessing too. She had a hard time getting through Four Days Late. She told us that their Mom is very ill and asked us to remember her in prayer. I haven't had time to listen to the new CD but certainly loved the new songs they sang off of it during the concert. Again, I enjoyed meeting you Erica and your sweet family. I loved watching you sing along with the music and it was such a joy to see a young person love SG the way you do. I told your Mom she has done a great job raising you right!!! Elva

I went to a Greater Vision concert last evening in my living room! They sang a lot of their new songs and they did GREAT! I particularly liked the story that Rodney told about his Father-in-Law's conversion. If you'd like to see the concert in YOUR living room (or den, or office, or wherever) here's a link!

Triumphant and the Booth Brothers were fabulous last night. Both groups sang so well, but I would have to say that one of my most favorite parts of the program is when they sang together - totally unrehearsed - with just the 2008 Singing News Fan Awards Musician of the Year to accompany them on the grand piano! Jeff also gave us a preview of one of the song medleys he's going to be playing at Shipshewana with Dino, Kim Collingsworth and others. David and the rest of the TQ guys also gave us a preview of what David will be singing next week at the SGMA induction ceremony --- Oh, What a Savior!

We always arrive a little early at concerts and last night was no exception. Jeff was practicing a new arrangement before the program after sound check, it included selections from 'You'll Never Walk Along' and 'Sound of Music.' We tried to get him to play it during the program, but he said he wasn't hardly ready to perform it. As previously stated it was a great evening. Looking forward to hearing David do 'Oh What A Savior' again at the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Thursday.

Must've sounded different to you when it had all of the songs together. I don't remember all of the songs he had as part of that medley but there were several.
