Hey cool, with that downloding thing, maybe you can find most of their stuff online, and add it to your library, think of the space you will save! LOL. not having all those albums taking up space.

Maybe someday i will invest in a good computer, then i will need somebody to teach me all that good stuff, like getting songs and pics, etc.

I was reading in another post that you have every Kingsmen project that they done except for like three. That is amazing, I think. I wish I had a majority of their projects. I have like 10-15 of their cds and then I have alot of Kingsmen MP3s that I have transfered over to cds.

Where are the best sites to purchase Kingsmen mp3s?

I have a program installed on my computer called LimeWire. You can go to www.limewire.com and download the free version or you can pay some money and get LimeWire Pro.

Well, I don't know, but my Internet filter blocked the site for some reason. So I wouldn't be surprised.

The website is alright. If you get the free version of LimeWire it doesnt cost you anything. But if you get the LimeWire Pro version it cost such and such a month.

He should since you are downloading material without his permission. If you are such a fan then you would buy the cds from them instead of getting them for free.

Actually Tater1955, I do buy cds and other products from them. I havent got any cds for free, I have downloaded songs from LimeWire that are from the "old days" of the Kingsmen. Ones that they dont have on cd anymore.

KingsmenQt.Fan,
I think Tater is trying to tell you that it is not legal to download copyrighted material without paying for it.
I realize that most all of us at times copy cds for friends, etc. We shouldn't, though.
File sharing through networks like Limewire, etc. can deeply cut into the profits of those who make the music.
It is really a form of stealing that all of us as professing Christians should seriously think about and avoid.
With warm regards,
Jason

Thanks for clarifying that, but lets get off of this subject and talk about the Kingsmen.

Hey Noah,
I dont know if that is going to happen because I talked to Ray Dean Reese and he said that they dont have any of their new CD right now. Everybody is getting them and they are sold out and Horizon records has to make some more. I talked to him at the Kingsmen concert this past saturday night(September 30,2006). Thank God that I have already bought my copy before they sold out.

What are your predictions for the "Good Good God" CD. I fully believe it is right up there along with the other new releases. I have been hearing alot about Gold City's new cd "Revival" and I think that these two cds will win alot of awards.

Which do you think is better???????????

Without a doubt "Revival". It is one of the best that Gold City has ever recorded.

I just got both. I hesitate to say one is "better" than the other, because I feel they're both GREAT!! "Revival" is definitely a little more country and a little more contemporary than any other of GC's recordings but I was still pleased with the overall result. No, GC will never sound like they did with Jay Parrack and Tim Riley, but that's life! GC is doing a great job of taking the new guys they have and developing their own sound, and I like it.

"Good Good God" is somewhat similar to "Revival" in that it is a ground-breaking release for the group. Like GC, the Kingsmen are attempting to redefine who the "Kingsmen" really are. They've had many changes since the days of Jim Hammill, but they're also taking Jeremy and Tony Peace, and the others and finding a somewhat new sound. In the case of the Kingsmen, I think "Good Good God" is probably THE best recording the group has done as the "Kingsmen" since I've started following them. It is a FABULOUS cd and hopefully an indication of what they'll sound like in the future.

Both cds are wonderful, both cds are ground-breakers, and both groups are finally getting their feet on solid ground.
