Hello . . . I'm the dad, and I have a vision for our family: We are Dad, Mom, and four children ages 9 through 21. Our daughter works with young ones at a childrens home in the Philippines. Now the rest of us are praying and working toward spending some time there, too. We believe our Lord has asked us to do some volunteer work in the squatters village there, starting with a three-week visit and then seeing where He leads us from that.

It's a HUGE project to take five people so far from home, and it's something I can't handle on my own. It's good to see everyone in the family working together and excited for this trip, and it's awesome to see God working it out step by step. If you feel led to pray for us, it would be such a blessing. Right now, please pray for God to increase my faith, to believe He will provide everything we need to do what He has called us to do. It just seems too big right now!

Over the years, prayer has become a bigger and bigger part of our lives, and we would be honored to pray for you, too. "He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. . ." Psalm 1:3a

Father, thank You so much for this family. If this is Your will for them, open the doors and meet every need and give them peace about it. If it is not, gently close the door and guide them to the place You want to use them. In Jesus name we ask. Amen

Yes—This is my prayer, too.
