As I was discussing the current political process, a gentleman claimed he was ready for a "Change". But, he seemed to unclear exactly WHAT change is being proposed other than shutting down the war in Irag. His reasoning? "Those People" have been fighting for centeries. When Obama says the word "Change" what do YOU think he means? What changes do you expect to see under his administration?

"Change" from an Obama administration I expect to see: I expect to see those I deal with on a daily basis get taxed at a much greater rate then presently, resulting in my paying a higher price for the goods and services they provide. I expect to see the middle class suffer while those at the extreme lower end of the economic scale reap benefits they will see for doing nothing, maybe resulting in some to lose whatever drive they have to improve their lot by taking the plunge and working for wages. I expect to see the stock market lose much of its value with the result that many who are counting on that very same market for a comfortable retirement will suffer. I expect to see our country's military downgraded and demoralized. Finally, even though I don't necessarily expect it, I wouldn't be surprised to see William Jefferson Clinton named and confirmed by a Democrat congress as a Supreme Court Justice.

On the other side of the ticket - under a McCain administration: I expect (because I am a conservative registered Republican and am mad as all get out) that the RINOization of the party will cease and those who identify with the party of conservatives will be expected to vote as those conservatives who voted them into office in the first place expect them to! I am NOT holding my breath on that however... But will fight on the local level until that train of thought percolates upward.

Ben, I'm with up to the Bill Clinton cinfirmation. Won't happen. Probably more like Chuck Schumer for the court or Attorney general. In all cases under an Obama administration I expect to see a Justice dept and BATFE run rampant over the constitution. And all under the name of executive orders. Only a US Senate with guts will stop him.

As for a McCain adm. I don't expect much change unless the repubs gain a 5-6 majority in the Senate. But these have to be senators who will take on liberal dems and not just talk a good game.

When Obama says the word "Change" what do YOU think he means? What changes do you expect to see under his administration? Oh there will be change thats for sure. But it will all benefit him and no one else. Mark my words - IF he gets elected (God help us) then a few months down the line people will be VERY disappointed. And ill bet anything that we get attacked with him in office. And maybe again when hes on his way to 'negotiate' with another one. There will be high taxes, gas prices will rise like they have never risen before, the word "God" will be taken off everything, Gay marriage will be legal in alot more states, abortions will be through the roof - its scary to think of a world where Obama is President.

Change from Obama; higher taxes, higher unemployment, more spending, larger government, more abortions, wores schools because of unions, partial birth abortions, infanticide, more welfare, terror attacks on our home land etc. etc. Change from McCain; less spending and less government that is controlled by the veto pen and openness, school choice, fewer abortions, peace through strength. Thanks RC
