I'm studying computers too :)

If you're looking for work in the IT industry, most people will tell you go for Software Development because that's where all the jobs are. But it's also the hardest subject to learn.

Databasing is my favorite subject. It's not that hard to learn, although it's not easy. There is a fair amount of work in this field.

I'd say the easiest part of IT is web development. But while it may be the easiest to learn, it's definitely not the easiest work to get into. Everyone loves it so it's a competitive industry.

So you have to weigh up how easy each field of IT is to how easy it is to get work in that field. As you'd expect, the easiest parts of IT have few job opportunities and the hardest parts of IT have a lot of job opportunities. So you either have to compromise ease of learning or job opportunities.

Cathy_Girl - I would advise you to determine what you find easy to do. Whatever that is (whether it is in IT or not) will probably be where your talent lies. And if you can find out what that is, then you can pursue that. If it is in the computer field, then you need to think about what you find to be easy. For some people, web development is not easy, but databases are. I know plenty of programmers that can't build a good, usable website because they don't have the artistic skill. So, what do you do best? Then, look at getting a career that capitalizes on that.

It all depends on where you live but IT work is hard to come by , depending on your specialty and level of experience.

Do not go into the field unless you one 100% enjoy it and want to keep learning. You either understand the concepts or you don't and you will not make it past your probationary period if you can't do the job. Its not an easy field at all.

Although I will say, the "easiest" one will be the one you enjoy the most and have a natural ability in.

Remember everyone learns differently so you will have to find the way that works for you. Some people are visual learners and others aren't.
