I am looking for a good webhosting company to do business. I would prefer a Christian hosting company that has 5 plus years in the business. No resellers, you must have own servers that are located in the USA. Here is what I am looking for. 1GB Space 10GB Bandwitdh 5 Emails 5 Subdomains 5 FTP 5 MySQL Databases -- 99% Uptime (Must have proof) DirectAdmin Control Panel 24/7 Hosting Support Free Setup I am looking to host my personal family website. If you know of any company that would be perfect for my needs please share with me. I need it to be around $2 a month or $15 / 20 per year. Thanks in advance for your time and support.

If you want to spend that little, you'd probably be better off just searching for hosts that charge what you're willing to pay and then see what you get.

Why on earth do you "need" 5 MySQL databases and proof of 99% uptime for a family website? And why DirectAdmin? I've never heard of it. I support Plesk at work and, while it is nice for tech-unsaavy customers, it totally messes up the way your server works. I have a server with a good uptime record that I'd be happy to put more sites on (lots of resources to spare), but the disadvantage is I'm the only admin and if it crashes when I'm in Mexico or something it could take some time to get back up. (Yeah if I got a few paying sites I'd probably find a backup admin ...)

5 Databases isn't that many when my wife has a blog, I have a blog and forum. Then I use one for beta testing other software, then one for a spare. Never know when you will need them. DirectAdmin is so much easier then cPanel and Plesk. Try it... You won't do back.
