I thought this topic was revlevant considering the tight money situations alot of us are in. I used to think of Amazon.com, Ebay, and used book and CD stores as a place to find more mainstream music, but in the last year I have been pleasantly surprised. Here are the deals I have gotten in the last year Kingsmen Stand Up Live/Mississippi Live (EBay) 13.00 Kingsmen Big and Live (EBay) 13.00 Kingsmen Big and Live Again 12.00 or 13.00 (EBay) Gold City Revival 7.00 (Used book store) Gold City live NQC video 14.00 (Ebay) Brian Free & Assurance Live in NYC Video 15.00 (Ebay) Brian Free & Assurance Lovin this Livin For the Lord 6.00 (Amazon) Brian Free & Assurance Doing This for You 6.00 (Amazon) Brian Free - Solo 6.00 (Amazon) All those prices include shipping, so that's total out of pocket. At Websites or CD table those (if you can find them all) total 155.00$ and that doesnt include shipping if you had to order them. My total for all of those 93.00 60.00 in savings. Now, I'm not saying, don't buy music from the artists or stores. I do it too. (I spent 40.00 at the CD table when I saw BFA a couple months back) But, I am saying that for those of us who watch our nickles and dimes, there are some very creative ways to get the music we love, without breaking the bank.

In spite of the economy, and since SG is about the only form of entertainment/relaxation that I want to spend money on, I will still buy newer stuff from the tables at concerts or from the artists websites. For older projects, especially LP's, I have to go to my local old record store or shop on ebay since they are usually the only places to find them.

I was just passing that info along for those of us without deep pockets
