We keep getting calls from the democratic national committee but when we pick up the phone no one is there. We googled the number and there was a number of sites dedicated to people who are getting harassed or hang up calls all the time. Does this mean that they have sunk to prank calling independents and republicans?

Or are Republicans doing it pretending to be Democrats in order to irritate independents and Republicans in the name of Democrats? Makes more sense, why would you irritate someone you are trying to win over to your side? However, if you can make it seem like the otherguy's fault and turn people against them, well thats a win for you.

I really don't know but it makes more sense that way.

Brad Lager, the presumptive Republican nominee for treasurer, couldn’t immediately be reached. But he has hired that well-known robocall attack architect, consultant Jeff Roe of Axiom Strategies in Kansas City. Roe is running Sarah Steelman’s gubernatorial campaign.

Asked whether he was behind the Zweifel calls, Roe said Friday: “I haven’t heard about them. I don’t think I am, but I’ve got 21 people in the office so I’ll check on it.”

Don't know if this will help -

I would love to think that they have sunk to prank calls, but it is most likely a compuer dialing system that telemarketers use. It dials multiple numbers and when one picks up it hangs up the other it dialed.

Put your number on the on the Federal no solicitaion call list. Until that kicks in I would report the nubmber to the phone company and document it everytime you get a hang up.

Thanks
RC

When Republicans are reduced to book-sized lies like that about to be published by Swiftboat Corsi, they no longer have room to talk about Democrats 'getting desparate'.
