I know we have an official prayer request thread, but this one needs everyone's attention especially the ones in SG music. Please be much in prayer for this request. I received this from a friend in Nashville:
I have a prayer request that I would really appreciate you adding to the e-prayer chain. It is for my very dear friends, Greg and April Potter-Holleman. April was in the music industry for many years as a booking agent for The Harper Agency and most recently had her own booking agency, April Potter Agency, booking many groups and reaching many people through her company.
April has a heart of gold and has made many friends in the industry reaching out to so many people with her sweet personality and sincere heart....now I am asking everyone to reach out to April and her husband. They do not have any children, but have felt a calling to adopt a little girl from Guatemala for many years now. This past year they have endured the long process of paperwork, home studies, phone calls and a long process of trying to raise funds for this adoption. The have believed in faith for this child that they have never seen, but are claiming God's call on their life to be parents to this little girl. They've already named her Hannah Chloe, decorated her bedroom, and have done all kinds of fund raising efforts to reach the $33,000 that it will cost to get baby Chloe here. They have raised some of the money needed, but they need so much more. $12,000 is due by the end of August as soon as they receive the referral for their baby. To some this may seem unattainable, but to God, everything is attainable....and they are believing in faith.
