Hi guys,
Recently, I've been dealing with what may be some kind of spiritual oppression and wanted prayer for protection of my mind, body, and spirit.
I've posted elsewhere (http://forums.crosswalk.com/Dealing_with_a_Troubled%2c_Possibly_Satanic_Friend/m_3916378/mpage_1/tm.htm#3916378) that I've had a "friend" (ex-friend/acquaintance now), who may be dabbling in the occult or flat out Satanism/Lucifereanism....I've had to remove myself from this person and am going to have a stronger Christian friend/mentor pray for him. I was a bit weirded out by this ex-friend due to his crazy erratic behavior. After a recent argument, he's gone online to attack me (writing bad stuff about me) and also been posting Satanic/Luciferean videos on his personal site (videos claiming the Bible is wrong and that Lucifer is the goddess of light we should all follow.         ...creepy!) ....Anyhow, I've been exhausted with work and other things and haven't had time to deal with this person yet. I've just ceased contact. I haven't had a long prayer session or met with my mentor yet to pray for him.
Just tonight, I woke up in middle of night and had weird thoughts of some kind of bad spiritual force(s) wanting to attack or enter into me. I kept praying for it to stop and for my mind to not think about it. Simultaneously, I had weird thoughts about this guy too. I started wondering if he was trying to curse me in some way (is that even possible)? ...
I could't go back to sleep yet and started to pray and list through any possible recent sins I've committed that I may not have gone to God to repent about yet and did that real quick to clear my mind and conscience. Then....I tried to ask God to stop these weird thoughts. It's like I ddin't want these thoughts but they kept coming into my mind. They were like thoughts/fears of some kind of bad force (demonic?...) trying to take over my thoughts and body. Oddly, it's getting better even as I type....but it was like a super nightmare and nagging thoughts....
I just felt really sick to my stomache and scared for some reason. Actually...it's getting better even typing. But man, it was scary when I first woke up. ....Um, I guess please pray for me.
I don't know what that was, but was weirded out.

Father,
Thank you that imit8him wants to have healthy, wholesome thoughts. May such come to be. May thoughts of the the Bible (Your Word) and thoughts of you so fill imit8him's mind that a happy outlook will fill imit8him's thinking. May confidence in your love, goodness and mercy overshadow all else. Make it clear that there is no need for dark, negative thinking. Give to imit8him the mind of Jesus Christ along with His faith, hope and love. We praise you and ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father, asking for a hedge of protection all around imit8him. Please protect him/her from all harm, from bad thoughts, and fill imit8him with Your peace about this, for stronger is He that is within us, than he who is without. Please bless him, and guide him, and help him to grow in You. Thank You Father. In Jesus precious name. AMen

I'm praying with warriors before me about this new twist in your life. I have no answers for your questions. Certainly, though, this was an unexpected thing to come up, and your mind is likely flooded with all kinds of things not thought much about before, as well as what may turn out to be loss of a friend- so for some reason, it went to try to work on some of all that. Probably so you wouldn't have to think about it as much during the day, but what do I know- that's just a guess.
Strange thoughts and feelings? Phillipians 4:8 them. Turn that Biblical watchdog on them and they'll go 'way.
By the way, folks with numbers in their user names are the coolest.

Praying in agreement with all the above prayers. Praying for protection over you and your home, your thoughts, mind, spirit. That can definitely be a scary thing, this is just the enemy
doing this since u have seen this acquantance acting like this...The enemy can not harm you!
Just keep praying and stay away from this person.

Surround imit with Your mighty protection against the evil one and his followers.
Draw imit to you every time anything occurs that does not feel right in the spirit.

You have my prayer however I want to reassure you that an evil spirit can not enter the body of a believer. Refer to I Samuel when God allowed an evil spirit to 'hinder' (bother) King Saul, ut never enter the dwelling where he resides.
Please remember to call for the armour of God (ephesians 6:12-18) or ask Him to put a hedge around you.
Dear Heavenly father~
I call upon you today to remove this oppression from Imit8him, comfort her with your presence Lord and remind her she belongs to You.
Give her your wisdom and strength as she has tried to help a believer that has fallen astray.
Allow her to give her friend over to you, because this battles belongs to you.
We lift her up Lord and cast away the demons like you do our sins. As far as the north and south let them be forgeotten
We praise you for your glorious works Lord and pray this in your Wonderful Name, Jesus... Amen
