I am going through a battle with the devil again, I know it will be a battle until the day the Lord calls us home but sometimes it gets tough just to keep going. I need prayers for strength to withstand him and to keep my eyes on the Lord. The devil knows my weakness and that is where he hits me at. While I am at church surrounded by my family there and feeling the spirit of the Lord move it feels easy at times to fight him off, but let me go to work where I am alone most of the time or home where the only other one there is my son and he is so much tougher to fight. The devil makes me feel like I am doing something wrong because of this, or that he can keep getting me to doubt in some form or another that God is really there for me. I just don't want God to look down on me for not being able to fight satan off all the time. I really need your prayers please.

That devil ... he will always poke at you when you are down. I cannot stand him 
I love James 4:7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
I have a funny visual to share with you. We had a visiting pastor give a sermon one week, and he called up one of the men from the congregation to use as a prop. And he shoved the man as he was demonstrating just how to tell the devil to get away from you. Don't just push and say go away ... oh no! He shoved the man and yelled at the top of his lungs GO AWAY!!! Obviously, it made a great point and it has stuck with me for years. 
What's really awesome is that you recognize the spiritual warfare going on!
Father, thank You for being our Rock and Refuge. Tonight I lift Jimmy up in prayer. I ask that You surround him with Your protection, and provide him with the strength and courage he needs to resist the evil one. We know how cunning he can be, and I thank You that Jimmy sees the battle going on. Thank You for making him aware. Father, be with Jimmy as he fights these battles daily, and provide him a safe place of refuge to rest and renew his spirit. Amen.
Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary. (Isaiah 40:30-31)

Perhaps too you are giving the devil too much credit. The Word tells us our own sinful nature is also our enemy.
We are exhorted to "take captive every thought that seeks to exalt itself above Christ" - these are our OWN thoughts - that come up from our heart. We need to stand against those with the truth - Scripture - eg, when a thought like the one you said about maybe God is not really there for you, should immediately be confronted with the truth: "THANK YOU GOD that Your Word says You are ALWAYS with me, that You will never leave me nor forsake me."
To do this regularly and effectively, you need to get to know God's word, of course. Make the Bible an integral part of your thought life.
Father God, I do ask You to help this person stand on the truth - Your Word. Help them to truly grasp Your Word and speak it into their life every day, many times a day. I pray that truth would prevail, and the enemy's lies, whether from within or outside, will be overcome by the truth of Your Word and this poster's faith. Please help them today Lord.
I ask in Jesus Name

You can also bind the spirit of doubt. I was given this word once, and I didnt even realize I was doing that.

Father,
Thank you that Jimmy is coming to you with this challenge. We acknowledge that this situation is easy for you, so we ask that you help Jimmy to be aware of your presence all the time. Help him in his study of the Bible to become immersed in you. May it be that any weakness will become a strength. We pray for him and ask in the name of Jesus Christ that your answer to our prayers will bring honor and glory to you. Amen.
