Has anyone here ever heard of her? If so, what do you think? The other evening I was tired and turned on the tv and there she was.

I look forward to your comments.

Woody,
I agree with you on this. But I wanted to see if anyone knew more about this ministry. After all, there are discussions on here that go on endlessly about many other female preachers.

I started a thread just like this awhile back. I didn't get much info. I try to stay up and watch her but she comes on too late where I live. Maybe you can find that thread, but it won't be much help.

Isn't she the wife of the false teacher and cursing "pastor"?

She is interesting to listening too, she knows evidently a lot of languages and uses them all when she preaches. She's way over my head so I have never understood what she is saying.

Yes, she's the widow of the late Gene Scott.

I have no documentation, but it's reported that he finally
repented of his perversion of the gospel. I watched him
from disbelief when he came on the Joplin, Missouri television
several decades ago.

I only watched him because he was teaching on the Great Pyramid.
Other than that, it was more of an entertainment element as I worked
late night and he was there when I got off work.

I did pray for his salvation at that time as I do for all false preachers.
Hopefully the prayer was answered, but I have no evidence of such.
Only hear say from others. I didn't keep up with him after that.

If you have the ION network (what used to be PAX) she is on around midnight. Interesting, but I can rarely stay up to watch a whole episode to pin down her doctrine. Her husband was nuts though, if that tells you anything. She seems calmer, but married to that guy ,who knows....

I tend not to trust any ministry that doesn't have a statement of faith on their website.

I agree.

She did do an awesome sermon a week or two ago.
I googled her to see if per chance the manuscript
was on the net. That's how I found her site.
And like you say, Not much there. I was disappointed, lol.
but not surprised.

I seldom stay up long enough nor watch her if I do.
A good John Wayne western will trump her everytime. lol.

Oh, I did notice on one of the clicks, it takes a reservation
to attend the services.

I used to really enjoy her program, including the episodes featuring her late husband. Never heard anything that set any huge alarms off (unlike Harold Camping's radio program I heard Saturday saying the rapture would happen on May 21, 2011. )

I pretty sure that both her late husband and Melissa Scott might both believe that the book of James shouldn't be in Scripture. I'm not actually sure on this, but Gene Scott taught that James and Paul were in conflict. I also heard her once as she was quoting from James state something to the affect that she normally didn't like to use James, but she wanted to quote from James because he was in agreement with something Paul stated.

One among many for me, plus their fund-raising techniques and calling for reservations to attend service.

Those are just the top of my head, there are others too.

Never heard of her. I came across his satellite station by accident about 12 or 14 years ago and heard a message on the historicity of the resurrection; how it was the best documented event of the ancient world. I always wanted a copy of that message, but after tuning him in a few more times and finding out his "paulist" doctrine and hearing him rant and rave about the catholics polluting the bible with the book of James, I turned him off.

I never knew that accusation he made referring to the catholics. I had heard him once or twice rant or rave about the book of James though.
