Why wouldn't McCain discuss it?....

It's not like these things are sacred off-limits topics. If one were proud of their church....why would they be scared to talk about it? It's not family or personal?... McCain made a mistake in not addressing the Jeremiah Wright controversy.

It's like false type of boundary respect, because religion is not off-limits. ...Not especially if that religion supports killing others (like Islamic fundamentalists) or is racist. If Obama was proud of his faith and church and mentor, why not talk about it?

McCain's campaign hasn't discussed this because they have been afraid of the fact that every criticism of Obama is depicted by his supporters as a racist attack; in short, Obama his leftist views and activities behind his race. I think the campaign has finally realized how this tactic has hurt them, and that they can't play by Obama's rules anymore.
