Seems the cozy days between Pakistan and the US is over.

What we can't send our armies across other nation's borders with impunity? But we're America! Where the rule of law is paramount!
Rule of law disclaimer: The rule of law only pertains within our borders and does not apply to citizens (ahem, enemy combatants) in Guantanamo or internationally where we thumb our nose at the U.N. and any other international body (e.g. the ICC at The Hague) at will when it doesn't fit our Administration's agenda (ahem, the will of the American people).
We did that during Vietnam in Cambodia and Laos and look how effective that was!
Conservatives want everyone to respect our borders? How about we lead by example for once!

Quess whose foreign policy and diplomatic expertise we have to thank for this-Obama.
The Democratic Party's agent of change has already changed things and he hasn't been elected yet. He has turned a struggling ally into a potential enemy.

You give Obummer way too much credit.
Pakistan has been a shaky ally from the get-go. The govt has to walk a tightrope with the tribal warlords. That God-forsaken region is not going to be overtaken militarily. Pakistan may be crying crocodile tears in public and turning a blind eye at times. They can't afford to be seen as too cozy with the US. None of this changes based on the election outcome.
The US is planning to increase troop strength now that Iraq has cooled off. Imagine where we might be if a certain President and his neocon handlers had kept their eyes on Afghanistan instead of diverting resources for a war that was, at best, premature.

I am all for sending more troops to Afghanistan to stablize and strengthen that country. I do not believe in sending more troops there just to launch a massive man-hunt for one man who may, or may not have out lived his importance to the Islamic extremist cause, and thereby threaten to further destablize, or even possibly going to war with Pakistan.
Osma bin Laden is just not that important, any longer.

Yesterday, I opened a new package of Oreo cookies with a few missing. Obviously, I suspect Obama of the theft - probably stole one or two at the factory.

However,if Obama and his people can not tolerate being blamed for everything, or citisized in any way, maybe they should reconsider their quest for the presidentcy.

I never said Obama was above all criticism - just that he's not responsible for everything that goes wrong in the world.

What type of nukes do they have? I am assuming they do not have ICBMs or any that could reach the U.S. Did you mean they have nukes that they would use locally (as in on their own soil)?

Last I checked, Bush was still commander in chief. Obama hasn't made it that far.
How could Obama push that through anyway?
