Hi everybody. I've just received an email from noblesinger (Duane), and he wishes me to pass on some news to you. Please keep he and his wife, Mary, and their family in your prayers.

quote:

I'm sorry that I've been absent from the Forums lately, but Mary's Dad died this past Saturday morning. His funeral was on Wednesday afternoon, and the family has been hanging around the house ever since. I've not been able to log on to the Net here at my Mom's since . . . I can't remember when. Please pass the word around to everyone, would you? I can say (with gratitude to the Lord!) that the whole process has been very civil, even down to the reading of the will and the determination that Mary and I will not be moving out until the weather breaks in the spring. This will allow us to keep her foster sister in the house as well, which is the best thing considering that she's been sheltered from the cold weather for at least 30 years or longer. Keep us in your prayers, since we are now going to be transitioning from caregivers to her father to caretakers of the house, and that we will be able to finally get the rest we so desperately need.

Duane and Mary, my condolences on the loss of Mary's Dad.

Praying that you have a smooth transition between caregiver and caretaker and that you'll get all the rest you so desperately need.
