New search engine by ex-Google employees doesn't seem promising to me. I searched for Jesus and Jesus Christ and the first pages that come up are Mormon and Jehovah Witness's. The results for Jesus Christ result in categories only related to Mormonism. This new engine is backed by 33 Million dollars in funding. Maybe we should write them a letter/email.

Did you mouse-over the categories on the right?

I prefer Clusty out of all the rest, but I'll have to keep an eye on this one.

Yes, when searching for Jesus Christ on cuil, not just the name Jesus, the only categories displayed on my screen are all Mormon related. Mousing over them reveals further links related to Mormonism. I use Google because at least actual Christian sites come up for the majority rather than cult material.

Ah. I tried that, and now I see what you mean. If I had more time I'd dig into those sites' content and try to find what's causing them to come up first. Obviously those sites ring Cuil's bells with respect to its search algorithm. I tried some other searches and the results look reasonable. I'm not sure how Cuil plans to make money with what they're doing, especially with Google taking more and more of the advertising-revenue pie with each passing year.
