I am looking for direction in puting porn blockers on my pc...I am not completely pc savvy....but web sites or free ones would be very appreciated!

I have read through some posts before and remember reading about blockers and it having an automatically generated tracking system through email????

but first and foremost I need to add a blocker asap!

be safe online is not free but it is one of the better ones. are you looking just for software or do you have a router. the router I use at home will alllow me parental control to block websites, track pc usages of the net, etc. as for just blocking stuff on your system in internet explorer, in tools, internet options, content, you can enable the content filter. I haven't used it much but it is free and bullt into IE, and someplace to start.

http://www1.k9webprotection.com/ is free and works well. I've set it up on several individual's computers who requested it. Also, OpenDNS has some features built in that can block adult sites - that service is free as well, but one can technologically circumvent openDNS easier than the K9 software.
