Hi, everyone,
My husband has been self-employed for 8 1/2 years (construction) and work has been really slow this year. Two jobs that he was supposed to have just fell through (within past 2 weeks). Today, he had to tell his three employees that they were laid off again(third time this year - other 2 times for short periods). But, DH cannot collect, so he needs work ASAP. I just got a part-time job, but it doesn't start until background check goes through, and that could be a while. We have no savings, and lots of debt. We don't want to borrow more. We are faithful tithers, and are standing on His Word. But, we are weary and DH is getting very depressed/ discouraged.
Please pray for breakthrough and work to sustain us. Thank You!!
**Note: He is a hardworking man, not a lazy bone in him. I can't stand to see him so down!  **

Lord, please look with favor upon favoredmomof4 and her husband. Please let her husband's business start to pick up so that he can support his family the way he wants to. Bless him with a good work ethic and fairness, and let potential clients see this and be encouraged to hire him. Let him run an honest business, and let it fluorish for his family's benefit.
Also help favoredmomof4 with her job. Let her be diligent and professional on the job. May she impress her employeers and make herself a good employee for them so that she might find advancement if she wants it.
Most of all God, look after them and their family during this tough time. Help them provide for one another, and be a pillar of support that they can each lean on. Let them grow in love and faith in you through this tribulation. Let them also be able to look to one another for support, and give heart and cheer to each other when times look difficult, such as now, help it to bring them together more as a family for doing so.
I pray for all of this in the name of the Savior of this World, Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Hi, everyone,
I wanted to say thank you for your prayers. It is such a blessing to know that we have brothers and sisters from all over who will lift us up in prayer! I pray for God to richly bless each of you for your sincere hearts!
My husband's brother offered him work for now until a job comes in - so he started working for him today. And, DH got a small side job for Saturday. These won't pay all of our bills, but they certainly help to "bridge the gap"!! And, we are trusting God to multiply, stretch, and bring in the increase. We are reminded that God told us to start a business, and that He orders our steps.
We listened to a CD today about God's love - he loves us all so much. We need to rest in that. "Perfect love casts out fear!!!" 1 John 4:18 AMEN!

Lord, I lift up favoredmom and her hubby to you. Please provide for them so that they
are taken care of with steady work, that they are taken care of financially and not have
to worry daily. I praise you for his brother giving him a job! Thank you Lord.
Please continue to work in this precious couple's life Lord....
