How do you make a link and change the link name?
Like when the mods are redirecting us to a site that a discussion is currently (especially when we are off topic)?
I hope that made sense. I couldn't describe it without using an example.

If you are asking how to put a link in one of your posts here is how you do it:
You will want to open the website in another window.
Type your post.
The words you want to be the link (hint: don't just use the address: it's usually too long) highlight and click the link button
In the second box of the popup paste the address you want to link to.
Hit OK
The word will now be linked in your post.
If you are linking to something in our forums you can make it so that everyone goes through the same portal they sign in with.
Don't highlight the whole address for the thread you want to link to. Only do the part after the site you are in. For example the addrss for this thread is (minus http://):
faithcommunitynetwork.com/Link/m_3727417/mpage_1/tm.htm#0
In this one you would copy this part:
/Link/m_3727417/mpage_1/tm.htm#0
WHen you get the words you want to link hit the link button above.
In the first window click the arrow for the dropdown and choose relative
Then post the part above: /link/m.....
Then when people click your link and they are logged in through faithcommunitynetwork they will stay iin FCN. If they log in through crosswalk they will stay in CW
