I gotta say. I don't see how the signs are not obviously pointing out to the return of Christ. I mean come on. I just saw a wedding on tv of a lesbian couple. One wore a white wedding dress, the other wore a man's suit. This is just getting tooooooo wierd for me. I may be wrong about a lot of things in my life, but if it is one thing I know, is that God obviously made it his wish for a man and a woman to unite and produce a child, and I can tell you right now when this couple goes off on their honeymoon that the show went all bonkers over as well (cause the won a free trip) the chances of them producing a child are not very high. What is God trying to say here? See I can go to a Christian forum and rant about this because it is acceptable, but If I spoke up in the world for what I thought was right I would be labeled "intolerant and closed minded". I recall the passages that spoke about that man would change God's laws during the end days, well..............lol. Get ready people. It seems right around the corner. How do you want Jesus to find you? caving into the peer pressure of this world to accept this behavior or on the side of Christ? I have no issue in respecting gays, but if I am being honest in my heart of hearts, what I saw on tv today was sad to see and a slap in God's face.

Read about the time of the first century church - under Nero, the anti-Christ. Seriously, it puts a lot of things into perspective about some that think things in the past were the "good old moral days.."

Nope.

I wouldn't want Jesus to find me watching a lesbian wedding on television. So, since there's a little "off" button on my remote...I exercise my finger and push it!

Seriously though, you will likely see more and more of this because the gay movement has an agenda...to make people believe it is an acceptable lifestyle.

Also, this thread will likely be closed and redirected to the one-stop thread on the subject.

Actually Kat lol it was one of those moments where I was watching something that I thought was a normal show just like "real life weddings" etc.....and you couldn't tell, and then when I saw that there was a woman dressed in a man's suit, I was like "ok" this is getting wierd. I didn't really finish the rest of it, when they kissed I was offended deeply.

Thanks for the reply earthless.

Yeah, I think we are getting pretty close to the end. I think this behavior is detestable. I know they argue "I was born this way", yeah well I was also born to get horny and have sex, doesn't mean I am going to act on it. The same way I can control not going to bed with someone, they can control their urges if they want to. Please- they make it sound like being gay is a disease or something. This is my view. I think we ALL have these feelings. Not that I am proud of it, but in the past I have had sexual feelings about women, thinking "how fun it would be", how much "sexier they are", but look. I am an adult, and I love Christ, and just like a person can walk away from a huge donut they shouldn't be eating, they can walk away from a lifestyle that was not the intention of God. What are we uncontrollable animals? I mean come on. Give me a break. It is not like it is impossible to to not act out on those feelings, they just don't WANT to.

Getting married is about more than just sex. Really if these lesbian were just interested in sex they certainly don't have to get married!

My advice: stop thinking so much about other people's sex lives.

My advice: stop thinking so much about other people's sex lives.

With that logic, we would then also have to ignore all the sins listed in the verses below... and by doing so, we would be ignoring the Word of God which is the foundation of our lives in Christ:

9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. -I Corinthians 6

So, if you see a robbery in progress, stop thinking so much about it...just ignore it. If you know a woman is sleeping with your husband, stop thinking so much about it...just ignore it. If someone in your company is an extortionist, stop thinking so much about it...just ignore it.

We are to take the entire Word of God and apply it...we can't pick and choose what sins we ignore.

No, I was just pointing out that marriage (or civil unions, or whatever they are) are not about sex--or do we want to say that for all of us marriage is about the sex? Lesbians who get married could very easily satisfy their sexual predilictions without getting married (moreso in fact); therefore, marriage serves other purposes. As with all of us.

The rant would be better placed if it were talking about lesbian bath houses.
