Love it.

As crass as he can be sometimes (the beeper guy must be working overtime), the guy really does seem to care about people. It's just so awesome to see the dawn of hope on people's faces... not just the owners, but the employees who are looking at losing their jobs.

My favorite show so far was the one to start off the season this year, where he went back to the places he helped out last season and so many of the places had been completely turned around and the owners who were in some cases on the verge of complete bankruptcy and homelessness and hopelessness when we saw them last time were now relaxed and back on track and doing well.

It's like the reality TV version of the concept of giving a "hand up instead of a handout". hehe

When does it come on? I was watching it last season, and I seem to not see it on.

I haven't seen the return episode yet, so I'll try to catch it online soon. It does seem to me the language may be a bit overboard, but if he naturally talks like that when the cameras are not around, then I guess he can't help it. I can't imagine he would talk like that in front of his kids! It seems to me it is no wonder that at first the rebellious employees wouldn't want to listen to Gordon because of him coming off so abrasive & that is more in light of his language, not so much the point he is trying to make. He can yell & scream all he wants because in most cases it's waranted, but I think ya'll can agree that if anyone talks to you like that, you tend to not ever hear anything constructive, you have already tuned it out. So, if he used a little less explicatives & focused on the issues, he could win these folks over in the beginning. But, I guess that would effect the drama & you wouldn't have a 60-minute show!

I hope he makes some trips down south. kd

I'm in th midde of watching an episode about a restaurant near my house call Jack's Waterfront. I had heard they were here last Spring when we had my daughter's conirmation party there. I'm glad we were there AFER Chef Ramsey went through. We hadn't been there in a couple years (before the new owners took over), now I know why.
