so im sitting here , my dad left the house and my mom went to sleep i think she took a bunch of these pills called " valums" and its so hard to wake her up i feel like crying . can somebody please help with me with some scriptures or something . everything was going good and then it just blew up

If she took valium (diazepam) check her bottle and see if you can figure out how many she took. If she overdosed then you need to call 911 like now. Because it will override her system and it could shut down.
I am sooo sorry you are going through this. Your parents need Jesus too.
So please keep praying for them. Is ther anyway you can call a pastor our another adult than can counsel them?
I know it is a hard predicment for you, but can you tell them that their arguing is affecting you? Your growth?

ok i will , and yeah not really they never go to church and my dad i dont think really cares about my mom anymore

i couldnt find the bottle , but i did find some aspirin next to her bed . but i know it was valum because this isnt the first time . i managed to wake her up but she went back to sleep i dont know if she even understood me

Is she breathing alright? Can you feel a decent pulse inside her wrist just below the thumb? If you can't rouse her, call 911.
This must be so scary, ShineDown. I'm sorry, and I'm praying for you. Go check your mom.
If you call 911, stay on the line and they'll tell you what to do.

Your dad may be confused on his feelings as both parents seem to be harden by whatever they are struggling with. Do not lose hope God hears our prayers and maybe this is an opportunity where He can show you His love for you. That He is Real and with you.
There's a song that states: He's never early, never late, been proved time and again trust Him you'll see He has all the power you need! All the Power, All the Power you need.
Eventhough sometimes it seems like we wait forever, He really does things in His time and it seems like an Eternity, the song gives a true statement. He always comes through and it always seems to be Right on Time!

Please let us know how your mother is doing. Also, do you go to a church that can help you? You need flesh/blood human beings to help you in times such as these. You need someone to hold you in her arms and let you cry.

You really need to sit down with your parents and explain to them how this is affecting your life, I know I said this in a previous post, but I cant stress this enough to you. I feel the Lord is drawing you in, just by things you have said, your experience last night that you shared with everyone, you coming to the forum with interest in the Lord, so I really believe that you are experiencing God's grace, love and mercy.....and sharing this with your parents could be great. I dont want to give you false hope Shinedown, but I have a 16 year old daughter, and she has witnessed a few arguments as well, and I had no idea how she was being affected by it, until she opened up to me, and when she did, it hurt me so much, because my intentions, were never to hurt her. Thas why I believe you need to share this with them. When they see your hurt, they may handle their disagreements in another way. I hope that makes sense.

yeah i think shes gonna be fine but im just so sick of this happening
we never go to church , ive been wanting to go but my parents dont and i dont want to go by myself . my names zack so you dont have to refer to me as shiendown . i would love to just cry in someones arms but ive been raised to not show emotion like that

Well would you like to know something? You do have someones arms to hold you while you cry, His name is Jesus. You have no idea, how many times I have went to bed, and said these exact words, "Lord, please just hold me in those strong arms of yours!" And He did! Many nights and days, I have went to bed like that, just to cry myself asleep, but He was always there. And please know, He is with you now.

Zaxk, I am a guy and I am starting to cry. I grew up in an abusive home so I know somewhat how you are feeling. The best thing I can tell you is Jesus knows exactly how you are feeling. Zack, my prayer for you is God will somehow bring a strong Christian man into your life.

He's Real by the Hillside Christian Center, it is from the Shout to Lord album.
I can pm you the whole song, it is against copyright to post it on the forum.
Just keep checking on your mom. If at any point you are alarmed do not hesitate to call 911. Also check her eyes to see if they are dilated, that is another indicator that she needs help

yeah i just went in there again and she talked to me a little bit about how bad her life is , but at least she can talk i guess . im sorry to burden you guys with this by the way

yes thankyou for that , and i appreciate it a lot you guys helping me and praying for me and all . well i think shes gonna be fine for now but yeah im definately gonna tell them how i feel . maybe this is gods plan to bring me closer to him

lol i once i get to fifty post i will be able to put up the picture of me at the ocean , lol i like the earth one on mine its hecka cool . and i put zack in my name cause some people were mistaking me for a female haha
