Am I the only one who is simply sick to death of being inundated with reality TV? Whether it's DANCING WITH THE MY-CAREER-IS-OVER-SO-I'M-DOING-THIS-FOR-A-PAYCHECK STARS, the begging-to-be-taken-behind-the-barn-and-shot AMERICAN IDOL, or any of the bachelor, millionaire, home hunters, washed up celebrites, wife swapping, nanny biring, whatever......when is enough enough?

Granted shows like THREE'S COMPANY were pretty lame, but they are high art compared to what's being pushed on us today....give me a shot on video sitcom or one hour drama any day.

Who's with me?

I am with you. I have absolutely zero interest in pretty much any reality TV show. The only one I've ever watched was a season of Survivor when a high school classmate was on it. I thought it was dumb, but I watched just to see my friend on tv.

Random - who was your classmate on Survivor?

(I'm not ready for Survivor or Canadian Idol to go away, but some of the others, yeah.)

I am.

But its cheap so it'll be around for a lot longer than its ratings may justify.

I'm ready for them to go too. It seems they always have stages when no matter what channel you turn to there is some sort of reality TV show on.

Sean Rector -- he was on when they were in the Marquesas. Back in 2001 or 2002.

The only reality TV that I liked was The Real World back about 10 years + ago. Now does shows such as Clean House or The Nanny considered reality TV too?

I like some of them....they make me feel less pathetic. Must forgive me...I'm withdrawing from Doctor Who and Lost.......will watch many reality tv shows to dull the pain.... Must have new seasons.....sadly...they are a long way off. Thankfully Biggest Loser starts on the 16th. Temporary distraction. I know, it's sad.....
