Personal information on "Joe the Plumber" was sought through the state's child-support computer in a check run from the main offices of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Ohio Inspector General Thomas P. Charles confirmed today that he is investigating the incident. He declined to provide details. more HERE Looks like Child Support enforcement, the Attorney General's office, the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, and the Toledo Police Department all were used to look for dirt on Joe The Plumber immediately upon his meeting with the one.

and the drive-by media has done nothing to investigate Barry's medical records, the Anneburg Records, his writings at Harvard..... I guess it doesn't matter that he considers the Constitution to be fundamentally flawed!

I hope they nail them to the wall. That's the only way this kind of terrorizing of people will stop.

Gosh people. Read the article. The whole thing, not just what you want to see. "Helen Jones-Kelly, director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, confirmed today that she OK'd the check on Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher following the Oct. 15 presidential debate." AND "Obama's campaign says it has nothing to do with the incidents and joined Republicans in calling for investigations." Neither campaign had anything to do with this. If anyone accessed records improperly they will be found out but I don't believe it was either campaign.

What I find fascinating about Obama, is that he has party machinery and a grassroots following that so readily does his dirty work, that whenever the work is criticized, he can stand back and say, "Tsk, tsk, tsk,", all the while reaping the benfits of the actions taken on his behalf. It's a rather flawless, albeit somewhat sinister, method of campaigning.

Nothing to see here, move along. Plausible deniability.

MCain brought his name up not Obama. Joe was at a rally and was not a plannned meeting. And if he does owe back taxes and back child support should he NOT pay them? We are all obligated to pay our bills and that means even Joe the Plumber. Is there not a thread on here about each of us paying our own bills?

You have talked ill of the mccain/palin ticket would it be ok for their cronies to dig through your private information and spread it across the nation?
