My friend came over last night and said she got the last two tickets to see sarah Palin in Springfield. Problem was that it was going to be cold and icky so I did not want to take my pre schooler. I could not find a sitter so I had to say no

She is worth seeing. My wife and I got tickets to her rally last week here in Colorado, but ended up leaving because it was SO PACKED. Thousands of people were turned away because turnout was so high. If we wouldn't have had our 5 yr old and 1 yr old, we would have stayed and gone in, but because of the massive crowd the start of the event started two hours late. Our friends that we went with went in and had a great time. Hank Williams Jr. did a surprise few songs before Sarah came out... makes me wish I would have stayed!

Oh that is too bad. I like her very much, she has spirit.

on the news they are sayhing that she is starting to make a name for herself, putting a bit of distance between her and mccain.. that perhaps she would like to run for president next election. That would be interesting!

Awww, Lesley, that's too bad. She's not my pick this year, but having gotten to see my candidate in St. Louis, I can tell you that no matter who you support, getting to see them in person is pretty great. I hear she dropped the puck at the Blues game, last night I think. Who knows, you might get another chance, you never know how things will turn out.

Thanks, It would have been so cool to go. But when we got up that morning it was only 40 degrees. The gates were suppose to open at 9 and my friend planned to be there when the gates opened. They had to move it to the parking lot of Bass Pro shops so they would have room for everyone. She was not due to speak until 11 so that would have been a long time for a little one to stand around especially in the cold.

That would be a laugh. I don't think she would be running for president, the Republicans won't stand for that.

Should Obama be elected, I think Palin making a stab at 2012 is very possible.

However, even four years out, I still fail to see what she could offer the country other than a pretty face.

That's one thing more than Obama.

She was here in NE Indiana on Saturday. I didn't even bother trying to get tickets as it was going to be televised live on a local TV station. Much easier for me to stay and home and listen then trying to fight for parking spots, dealing with the crowds and still run the risk (if you weren't there in line by 2PM) of not getting in anyway. Apparently they handed out more tickets then they had actual space for.

Nope just easier to stay home.

Blessings,

Garsy

I got to see her the day McCain announced her as VP - she really got the crowd excited.
As the political signs say: I LIKE HER!
I am really tired of hearing the media bash her at every step - now it is how much she
spends on her clothes - why not ask BO how much he spends on his clothes or his wife's clothes -
the media just wants to get at Sarah.
