I enjoy The Hoppers. They are my favorite mixed quartet. I have several of their CDs and a couple of DVDs. My favorite CD is The Ride.

I really like them.
I hope to get to see them in concert sometime.
I've met them, but I've never heard them in person.

What she said.

I like the Perry's a lot, too.

The Hoppers are great. I really like the Greenes also, Kim Greene Hopper's brothers.

I like the Hoppers very much, and usually see them several times a year. I plan on going to their Thankgiving sing in Eden, NC every year if possible. All of the brothers appear on the program and Connie usually plays the piano like she did when they first started.

I really don't need to add my two cents. Anyone that knows me already understands my feelings on the Hoppers. Let's just say they are to me what the Cathedrals are to so many of you.

I love hearing Connie Hopper's voice. I love "See How She Loved Him," because that's my grandma and grandpa's story all over again, and I also like the song about "finally home forever."

Can anyone tell me which song she was featured on within the last couple of years (I think) that was making a pretty big hit (I think) when the Gospel Greats went off the air in my area? I want to buy it off iTunes but now I can't remember the name, and I'm not sure it's there. I just know it was a slower song kind of in the style of the others I mentioned, and I think it was up quite a ways on the SN charts. Maybe if you threw some names at me I'd recognize it (and maybe not).

You might be thinking of I've Come Too Far. It is on their Generations album from 2004.

She is my all time faborite soprano and maybe even singer all together!! My moom loves Connie Hopper too so it works out great all the way around!! One of my favoites is I've Come too Far !!

I'm still stuck on Jerusalem! I love that song and haven't heard them do anything else that I love as much since they put that one out.

I like Jerusalem a lot. But of their newest ones, I like "God Already Knew."

If you guys liked "Jerusalem" then you'll probably like "Yahweh" from "The Ride."

Yes, I like Yahweh, too. It sounds like something we would have heard while visiting Israel last Fall.

My favorite is Shoutin Time In Heaven.
Especially the video from Greenville when they sang it and the Cathedrals joined them onstage.

Hard to choose a favorite:

Shoutin' Time and When He Comes Down have always been mine, but My Only Option is gaining fast.

To date, Live In Greenville, is probably the best video they have released. It has all of their hits from Stepping on the Clouds to Here I Am to When He Comes Down to Shouting Time. Glen Payne is priceless on Shouting Time.
