First, this is not a post disparaging the chat rooms or the community therein, so my apologies if you were expecting drama.

What this is, is asking for a bit of help. I can no longer access the chat on the system. To clarify, it gets stuck on "Connecting . . . " and simply stays on that forever. Flash is updated, it just randomly stopped loading all the way one day.

It still works fine on my laptop, so what I'm asking is... would there be a setting I'm missing that somehow got tripped that's making it stick on connecting? Flash works fine elsewhere, it's just this chat interface it gets hung up on. I'm on FF3, using Flash 9 on an XP machine.

Here are some things to try:

1. Restart your computer.
2. Empty your cookies
3. Delete your temp files
4. Check for flash updates
5. Check your security settings for your browser

Ive got almost the same problem except that it switches from 'connecting' to 'loading settings' and never actually finishes loading that page.. i did everying suggested in the above post to no avail.. could it be that the new software youre using rejects us lowly characters?.. could it have something to do with my pre-loaded settings the colour or font size or something?. ive tried everything

There could a whole load of people in the same boat, an unknown gaggle of chat-crazy people who cant get what they want.. it seems almost sad to think about..

Thanks for your time

You'll need to email community@salemwebnetwork.com for further trouble shooting.
