Please tell your friends/family to boycott McDonalds - they are now financing any pro gay marriage agenda and recently sponsored the San Francisco Gay Pride Parade.

Pray for California and the churches there - to open the eyes of the people to see the truth about the marriage amendment - its sneaky how they are wording the ballot for November.

McDonalds in general is a corporation, however all franchises are individually owned. Not all individuals owning franchises may follow this same charitable/social/you fill in the blank theme. Before such a widespread thing begins, you my want to rethink boycotting McDonalds.

Shall we list out all the companies that have a "pro-gay" agenda so we can all boycott them?

Hold on to your hats... you might have to go back to the bare basics...

Boycotts are not effective and they don't work. Take the case of boycotting the Confederate Flag here in SC. Most companies now have adopted the pro-gay agenda unfortunatley and boycotting rarely works.

true....by the time you go through all companies that have an alleged "pro-gay" agenda (all depending on your definition of what that is..), all you'll have left is Chick fil a and Hobby Lobby to go to.

My company treats ALL people equally, regardless of sexual orientation......and for some, that is being "pro-gay"......

Absolutely!

Oh, and btw, if you're going to boycott McDonalds and eliminate your favorite cheeseburger, you'd better be prepared to pretty much give up nearly everything that makes your life enjoyable, practical, easier, and fun...such as store bought food, clothing, television, movies, radio, music, icecream, gardening and home supplies, etc, etc, etc.

If you do some homework, nearly every retail establishment out there supports something we, as Christians, are opposed to.

I don't go to these establishments to have my faith validated...I go simply to shop for the things I want and need. Who and what they support is between them and God.

Here's the link for American Family Association - read for yourselfs. Boycotts DO work - AFA boycotted Ford Motor Company and while the boycott was on for over a year - every month but one or two were way down in sales. The other car companys while they had some losses, were no where near the amount of losses that Ford experienced part due to the boycott.

Some car companies had many months of profit and not loss. So they do work.

Do you think that all secular businesses should be forced to adopt Christian values and do you only shop at businesses sell only items that match your church constitution & by laws?

I could boycott McDonald's I suppose, but I don't think they'd notice, since I rarely go there anyway.

the AFA's boycott didn't do anything......the entire industry was on a downward trend during that timeframe that the so-called boycott was supposed to have been going on.....
Ford has had problems for years.

The AFA has to convince people that it's "boycotts" and other initiatives work......so, the donations to their organization keep coming in. The boycotts are for self-promotion of the AFA more than they are for "outrage".....whatever you read on the AFA website, I take "with a grain of salt"...because usually it's only "propaganda" that I read...and isn't the ENTIRE story....or just selected or distorted "facts" to make a much more "emotional" article for their website....

Plus, WHY Ford? Ford wasn't doing anything differently than any other automaker.....advertising to a specific, and affluent, market segment. That was pretty much their "unpardonable sin".....

Ford's stock price has been hovering around $5 a share...and factories are closing....and people are losing their jobs.....is that really something to be "proud of"? (again, not that the AFA really had an impact on any of that)....

it's all about making sure people keep sending their money in. bottom line.

Do you really think that's how to show the love of God?

A "successful" boycott is still a failure.

Good point....damaging or destroying a worker's livlihood (like what allegedly happened with Ford).....way to go AFA....

people in Dearborn, Michigan (and elsewhere around the country) are out of WORK because of the results that you claim YOU are responsible for.....way to go!

I do not think boycotts are biblical, but I do however, think the things that AFA does dealing with television programs do work. They have people sign a petition stating they do not agree with that program, such as "Swing Town" and others. It has actually worked. But to boycott a business isn't really feasible.

Remember you do live in 'Frisco. The same city that madedates the companies in the city pay for sex change operation and wants to have converted warship changed into a gay museum. The is no way a boycott will work as most private companies in the area are forced to be gay-friendly.

I just don't believe I have to pull out my moral compass just to order a small box of fries.

I've noticed that prayer has been requested for the people in California, but only a boycott has been mentioned concerning McDonald's... Wouldn't praying for them be the best option? Let God handle the "pro gay" agenda of McDonald's. Boycotting does nothing to bring God glory IMO.

boycotts of national companies are a waste of time.

If ford's sales were down, it is probably due to Toyota rather than a religious boycott.

McD's are privately owned franchises. I'm not that far from San Fran. If I boycotted every thing that was "pro-gay," what would I be left with? As a rule of thumb, I do tend to stay away from major corporations as often as I can.

Yes, our churches do need prayer..... nationwide.

Nah, I boycott them now because they stopped frying their french fries in beef tallow. They just don't taste the same and that was the only reason to eat at Mickey D's.
