http://www.theinsider.com/news/1229974_The_Insider_on_TV_Tonight If you guys watched last week's episode of The Insider, Billy Graham was quoted as saying he loved Sarah Palin. Though Graham's daughter would not reveal which Presidential candidate he was supporting, it must have been a confidence boost to Palin's camp to hear someone as prominent as Billy Graham say he absolutely loves her and what she stands for.

ORIGINAL: ekserekseez Wasn't Billy Graham a golfing buddy of Nixon's? He was and "adviser" to whichever President was in office. He distanced himself from politics after being "burned" by Nixon. If you ask Billy Graham about any of the candidates, he will say something nice and not attempt to insert himself into the campaign (unlike the self-aggrandizing Christian Big-shot in Colorado Springs).

Too bad more preachers and other assorted charlatans don't follow his lead. They have a right to endorse whoever they want, but they usually come across as looking like a bunch of greedy creeps.

That's a horrible thing to say. Most of them are not creeps.

Most of them are not creeps I only know them from channel surfing, but the bozos who sell salvation on cable television during services that look like a re-enactment of the "Donnie and Marie Show" seem pretty creepy to me.

Which big-shot is that?

Wasn't Billy Graham a golfing buddy of Nixon's? He associated with MANY President's including JFK. If you have read any of his books on the subject you will find he is far to wise to disclose his private thoughts and allow the media to turn them into a public circus. The exp. with Nixon affected him a great deal. I am sure he will say he loves both candidate's as all Christians must do.

Let's face it. Like I mentioned before. There are too many denominations and sects. Not all congregations respect Billy Graham. You see both Obama and McCain had to distance themselves from religious leaders already. Also, with American being mixed with different religions, some voters can be alienated. Whether we want to believe it or not, an endorsement of Billy Graham means nothing to a lot of people, even Christians.

I believe Graham is a registered Democrat.
