An new politico he wants to be but the truth is coming out that he is cast from the same mold as the old ones. The best example is his flip-flopping stance. Showing that he is learning on the job and that he is only going where the wind blows. Not having a firm grasp of the issues, he speaks on both sides of the issues to get voted in.

But enough about what I think, what do yout think? Does Obama flip-flop stance on significant issues make disqualifies him?

Well, I knew he could never keep all the promises. None of them do. I will not vote for him, because a multitude of reasons, all policy related.

I'm abstaining from voting because flip flops don't stink as bad as shoes. ; ) However some of these are just silly:

1)Why are "conservatives" or "imaginary closet liberal-RINO's" complaining about this? You should be rejoicing.

2)Good the public shouldn't have to pay for all of this flip flopping. ; )

3)NAFTA isn't the problem expanding it is. Kind of lame he should know what he thinks about NAFTA by now.

4)He said that the other proposal that had 300,000,000,000 in tax cuts was the wrong prescription. That could mean lots of things- perhaps he wants a smaller cut, perhaps he wants the cuts divvied out differently with more going towards smaller corporations. This blog doesn't tell me anything.

5)Congratulations if the Court says it's so than it is Constitutional. I see Mr. Obama understands what most of us learned in 5th grade and that is if the SCOTUS says it the Constitution supports it.

6)I have no clue what he did for this as a member of a STATE house instead of being in DC. Why is this even on the list?

7)He isn't running as fast from supporting Dubya on a bill as some Republicans though. Since this was obviously the only energy related piece of legislation, the only law that impacted energy and prices than yes this must be a flip flop.

8)I'm not a proponent on sending millions of dollars a day to Nations like Saudi Arabia for oil who paid the families of Palestinian suicide bombers who attacked Israel but I can see no other way to run the cars and heat our homes without it so we must live with it. That is no less of a flip-flop than his. Nuclear Power is here and we may as well deal with it like it or not.

9)???

10)Reality clashes with what he says and Reality wins.

After going through the first 10 I vote that this list and blog stink worse than a smelly old Pole Cat squashed on the road after about an hour of 95 degree sun beating on it.

If you believe that neither Obama nor McCain will keep their promises (and you're wise for believing this) what do you base your vote on? The one who llies the best?

All politicians lie. They wouldn't be (electable) politicians if they were honest. Given McCain's flip-flop history, I think it's foolish for his campaign (the "pot") to "call the kettle black".

Perhaps, it is relational. Obama flips on everything; McCain flips on half.

See if Obama is flipping all of the time when does he have the time to flop? Yet if McCain is only flipping half of the time he still has plenty of time to flop. ; )

true, I really do not believe any politicans, they lie, all of them. It is a shame no one can be straight up. I will say old Senator McCain does seeem somewhat straight up. Though I just do not really like him that much. McCain does say things that are not popular, I will give him that. I just do not want to vote anymore.

If you do not vote, the political parties and special interests groups win.

If you do not vote there is nothing that keeps them from doing what they want. As long as you exercise your right, and your voice, THEY have to think twice before engaging in anything that you might be against.
