... NOT Evan Bayh.

Apparently a printing business in Lenexa, KS called Gill Studios has printed and was today shipping a significant quantity of Obama-Bayh bumper stickers to Denver for the DNC this upcoming week.

They of course will not comment.

Let the debate begin!

EDIT: Of course the selection is Biden ;)

Here is where Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., stands on some of the key issues:

Abortion: Bayh has voted in favor of banning late-term abortions except where the mother's health is concerned, but has opposed many other restrictions on abortion. He supports Roe V. Wade.

Energy And Environment: Bayh has voted against oil drilling in the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge and to factor global warming into federal project planning. He has voted for a measure reducing U.S. oil imports 40 percent by 2025 and to provide tax incentives for energy conservation and alternative fuel development.

Guns: Bayh has voted against prohibiting lawsuits against gun manufacturers, in favor of background checks at gun shows and against loosening license and background checks at gun shows.

Health Care: Bayh has voted in favor of $40 billion per year for limited Medicare prescription drug benefits, negotiating bulk purchases for Medicare prescription drugs, allowing reimportation of prescription drugs from Canada and allowing patients to sue HMOs to collect punitive damages.

Immigration: Bayh voted against the 2007 comprehensive immigration reform bill, but he voted in favor of individual aspects of the bill, including building a fence along the Mexican border, establishing a guest worker program, allowing illegal immigrants to participate in Social Security and giving guest workers a path to citizenship.

Marriage: Bayh has voted against a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage.

Taxes And Economy: Bayh voted against making President George W. Bush's tax cuts permanent, and in favor of increasing the tax rate for people earning over $1 million a year. He voted against repealing the alternative minimum tax and against raising the estate tax exemption to $5 million from $1 million. He introduced legislation in 2003 expand Small Business Administration loans to small manufacturers.

Iraq: Bayh was one of the original 2002 co-sponsors of the joint resolution in Congress supporting President George W. Bush and authorizing the war with Iraq. He later was a critic of the war's prosecution and management.

If I were them and trying to keep this secret (for whatever reason) I'd pay to print bumper stickers with several potential running mates to throw everybody off. So this is nice reporting but I'm not ready to buy into it yet.

My money's on Biden. He would be Obama's best pick and would be the best man to go after the McShame's smear campaign.

Seems like that is the case.
Bayh and Kaine have been told they are not the choice. LINK.

That is a great point. I just wanted to feel important for a few moments by posting first ;p I'm not too proud to admit my wrongdoing

Dangit, Dubya. Spoiled all my fun.

FOX news is now reporting that there is activity at Biden's house, and a plane arrived for him from Chicago.

Now that's the mark of a real fan, albeit a closet one. ManimalX and Dubya staying up late at night anxiously awaiting The Messiah, B. Hussein O. The Wicked's decision on VP. (My excuse? I'm in England this weekend and it's about 8:30AM here). You know if you register at The Messiah, B. Hussein O. The Wicked's site, you'll get texted and know before everybody else does. And receive a free T-shirt and action figure. Oh wait, you guys probably already did that, what am I thinking?

So it looks like Biden. Where does he rank on the wickedness scale?

I saw the news and went "what the heck??? Why why WHY?"

Nobody gives a hoot about Biden. He's tried to run for President twice. In 1988 he plagiarized a speech. Nice. Then this time as soon as he got in the race, he said Obama was "articulate" (as if that was surprising for a black man). He got dismal attention.

FOX News dug up this juicy Biden quote from earlier in the year: “I am not running for vice president, I would not accept it if anyone offered it to me. The fact of the matter is I’d rather stay as chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee than be vice president.”

Also rather amusing, just last night Obama told us that they wanted to make the announcement "when America is awake." When did it come? 2AM! Huh???

Biden has a 74% rating from liberal groups and an 8% rating from conservative groups.

Guess it could be a little worse.

Writing, as someone who isn't a big fan of neither JSM, or BHO, I think this choice stinks in so many ways, to those who will vote, based on his VP choice(and, I'm sure there are those who will);
He thumbs his nose at Hillary supporters, by not, at least choosing a female. He removes any doubt, that he is a typical politican, by picking one for his running mate, and there's that word, "gravitas", again, only this time it sticks, as he will look like a child next to, old Biden.
KS Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, to me, would have been a much better choice.

An action figure, oh boy! I can use that with my Star Wars figures. He'll be one of The Emperor's evil servants, speacializing in the Jedi mind trick.

BTW: If I'm up at 2:30 I ain't watching Fox News. Usually they have that dreadful Red Eye show or a repeat at that hour.

As far as Biden, I congradulate the Republicans on the choice.

No worries, Biden will still look like a youngster next to McShame.

It is hard to imagine the arrogance of Biden and the arrogance of Obama all rolled up in one package;

Come quickly Lord Jesus.

Thanks

Oblunder fans shouldn't worry. I figure McNasty is coming to OH to announce he's picking Dennis Kuchinich, for his running mate. They'll get the trophy wife vote locked up.

Oh, yeah, and Obama hasn't run ANY smear tactics, right?

Of course all McCain has to do to totally screw this up is to fulfill conservative speculation and pick a pro-abortion running mate...

McCain has put himself between a rock and a hard place by courting the far right. If he chooses Lieberman (which I believe would be HIS preference) or Ridge the far right will have a melt-down and he will lose the very base he lost the independents over.

If he chooses Romney, (which is where I'd put my money), he will have to deal with Romney's negative remarks against McCain during the primaries as well as Romney's flip-flop over abortion and gay marriage being played over and over again by the Obama campaign.

Then there's the matter of McCain using his 72nd birthday to announce his VP pick which may highlight the fact that, if elected, he would be the oldest president in American history -- even older than George Washington.

Biden is a bonafide foreign policy wonk. Any reasonable doubts that liberals had over Obama's FP should be over if he has Biden whispering into his ear.

Ronald Reagan dealt with the same issue when he picked Bush. Remember "Voodoo economics"? That came from Bush.

Reagan was older that Washington too, I believe.

Great! Now tell us why Joe Biden as VP is something Republicans should fear.

Experience, gravitas, favorite food is own foot.

Maybe Obama doesn't really want to be President??? I can't think of another explanation for this pick.

Fear? Because Barack Obama shot his campaign in the foot? Hardly.
